Hello, Bobwurst. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Young Pappy, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Young Pappy to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.
If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.
Thanks,

- Hi Bob, JulesWilJr (I saw that he was active on the page as well). I'm the content expert for the Wikipedia:Wiki Ed/College of DuPage/English 1102, section 143 (Spring 2017) course and the above page was tagged with a PROD because the page itself did not have any sourcing to back up the claims in the article. What the article needs are good in-depth secondary sourcing. I see that there is some for his death, but you will also need to show that he received coverage prior to this in order to show a depth of coverage. Also, be cautious about the claims for numbers about views, streams, and downloads, as this by itself isn't something that would establish notability on Wikipedia. For example, there are people on YouTube that have very large fan followings and some of their videos can have millions of views, however their popularity isn't what would give them notability on here - it would just make it more likely that they would receive coverage in reliable sources. One of the best ways to do this is to find reviews of his work in outlets that Wikipedia would consider reliable, which can sometimes be a little difficult if someone's career is/was more online than in traditional publishing avenues - mostly because there are so many people out there that have put out work and so few outlets that Wikipedia considers reliable. Deletion discussion about Young Pappy
editHello, Bobwurst,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Young Pappy should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Young Pappy .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,

Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
