- Yes it's a proxy server, the section entitled "Innocent?" in the block message explains some of the problems surrouding this, and autoblocks this specific situation. I've removed the autoblock. --pgk(talk) 08:15, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Page Editing
editI have notice that you are in the middle of creating an article. I would recomment that you place an {{inuse}} tag at the top of the page so it is not accidentally deleted. Also please see Wikipedia Style guidelines so you can make a great article. Welcome. Jon513 15:23, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks :)
I have noticed your recent string of edits involving dentistry, and I am glad to see someone help contribute to this topic on wikipedia. You should know, however, your edits involving the topic of Aphthous ulcer are a bit far reaching. There is a method to move a topic to a new named article, and this is superior to copy/pasting the text since the histories are saved. Futhermore, anytime we think an article would be better named a certain way, there should be a message left on the talk page and time to garner consensus on the issue. I do not know what is going to be the best way to deal with the movement of/changes to the articles Apthous ulcer, Aphthous ulcer, and Mouth ulcer, but it may include undoing some of your edits until we get a consensus on the changes. - Dozenist talk 17:47, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- Ar... nuts. That took forever. Is there some other way of doing it without reverting it completely. I've added heaps of stuff including references (which were missing) in the old version of mouth ulcer (now aphthous ulcer; and i didn't delete any information just relocated it. I originally moved it to apthous ulcer by the way but then realised i'd done a great big typo D'oh... so the only way i could fix it was to copy and paste... i spose i should have asked an admin. Do you think any of the content is far reaching by the way? thanks for the compliment part :)(Bouncingmolar 07:27, 19 July 2006 (UTC))
Your RfA
editHi Bouncingmolar. Can I very gently and with good intention, suggest you withdraw and run again when you're more experienced? If you do, when you run again, please drop me a line at my talk page. --Dweller 18:04, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
I have a few suggestions :
1. You need more continuous experience
2. You need at least 5000 strong edits, and 3-6 strong months; we're not trying to bite you, but you just don't have enough experience yet.
3. Don't lose confidence in yourself as an editor - this is the first time I've heard of WikiProject dentistry, so we REALLY NEED you to STICK AROUND.
4. As Dweller said, you've got the potential and the makeup to be a sysop, but you're not enough experience.
Also, I, too, suggest you withdraw, since you will be withdrawn by a bureaucrat in a day or two.
Good luck with WikiProject dentistry, and I hope to see you on the RFA page in the summer! The Evil Clown 20:19, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
RfA
editBouncingmolar, I don't think you need thousands and thousands of edits, just a few months of consistent contributions. The quality of your contributions are quite high, and I'm sure you will be admin'ed. Nominating yourself clearly took courage, and I hope you do not get frustrated with Wikipedia as a result. You are clearly an asset to the community, and I hope you will continue to make contributions as an editor in the short term and in higher capacities in the middle to long term.
You are absolutely right that the dentistry projects need some interested admins and you would serve well, I believe, in that capacity. They do not need to have tons of experience in vandalism fighting or XfD, but they do need to show competence in the bureaucratic process of Wikipedia. Many users, myself included, feel that this cannot be demonstrated in a month's time. I look forward to supporting you in June.
I have delisted your RFA as it appears you have withdrawn you acceptance. If I am incorrect, let me know and I'll relist it with a different timestamp. Thanks, Navou banter / contribs 03:40, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

- Dr-G provides information on how others' edits are inferior to his perception of how things should be. The articles were is disarray for quite some time before I came along. Why does he make these statements only after I come and edit, instead of taking the initiative and editing the articles before I got there. Those were my questions to him. - I have added my proposal here. I would appreciate your response. - Dozenist talk 15:53, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Tooth article name
editI thought you may be interested in the conversation about what to do with the information in the tooth article, as most of it refers to the human teeth. Should the content be moved out to an article called, human teeth (or some variant of that), or should there be a new article called, teeth in animals (or some variant of that). The discussion is taking place here. - Dozenist talk 15:41, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi. I started an article (the latter one in the subject line above) and, after running with it to include more and more information, notice that it would be much better to redirect it to a comprehensive article on dental radiography. Then, I noticed that there already is such as article, which, personally, I find to contribute very little to a reader's understanding of anything, as it written poorly with little information, no pictures, etc. This is not to say that it is the editors' fault (and I see that you seem to be the main editor, and as such, am contacting you), but that perhaps its nature and content material lend themselves to abstract explanations of things not easy to explain without pictures to people who have no clue what they are without our explanation. Please drop me a line letting me know what you think in terms of the merge I proposed and what you think should best be done. My opinion is to pretty much replace the content of DR with that of FMS, and add in whatever is missing. Thanx. :) DRosenbach (Talk | Contribs) 17:14, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
Edits to the dentistry page
editHi Bouncingmolar - Since you seem interested in the dentistry page I thought I would run a few edits by you: I moved that big list of organizations to a big list of organizations page to free up the contents section a bit - and removed some external links that seemed like spamming - as a dentist you may be better able to make a judgement on that: the Dr A link is dubious as well, I'll look up the guidelines (the site seems useful in some way but it has advertising on it so I think that makes it a no no). I agree on the removal you suggested - do you want to just go ahead and do that? I think the page needs a good bit of work but anythings a start. Revatim 16:57, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
Typo redirect Dental Prosthetist.
editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Dental Prosthetist., by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Dental Prosthetist. is a redirect page resulting from an implausible typo (CSD R3).

WikiProject Dentistry -- Inactive?
editHey there -- what's up with Dozenist? Did he just disappear? How did this project fall apart? DRosenbach (Talk | Contribs) 05:01, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
WikiProject Dentistry -- Update
editHey there! Over the past year or so, the WikiProject Dentistry has fallen into disrepair. Dozenist hasn't been around in nearly 2 years, and after some email communication, he's indicated that he's no longer interested in heading the project. In fact, the project has been labeled inactive since November 2010!
My plan is to focus less on internal bureaucratic policy and more on article creation, article clean-up and article maintenance. That's why people use Wikipedia to search for dental topics -- because it contains wonderfully explained, wonderfully formatted information on relevant topics, not because there are 5 dental articles featured as GA or 7 articles featured as such. So if that's what you like, don't let me stop you, but I think the focus should be on, as I said, article creation and article maintenance.
I welcome all comments, questions and suggestions. If you're new and you'd like help, I'll try to guide you. You can check out my latest few articles: Underwood's septa, platform switching, Bone remodeling period, Cone beam computed tomography, C-terminal telopeptide and furcation defect. You cannot imagine how many dental students I come across at Columbia who tell me they utilize Wikipedia on a weekly basis, but find that there are not enough articles on dental subjects. So let's get out there are create well written, well sourced articles on dental topics. Have a great day! DRosenbach (Talk | Contribs) 12:43, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
Greetings
editHey Bouncingmolar, Thanks for the work on pericoronitis. I've been editing regularly with @Lesion: on the Wikiproject Dentistry articles. We're dividing some of the work up to improve the more highly trafficked articles. Just finished a major rework of dental implant (awaiting a GA assessment) and currently working on Toothache. If you have any desire to tackle some of this as a team, let us know and we can all coordinate efforts. Regards from Canada. Ian Furst (talk) 02:23, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
- Hi my editing is rather sporadic. but I'll be sure to check it out.

Sources
editHi Bouncingmolar, I just read a comment you made where you mentioned a dislike of referencing. If it helps, have a look at User:Lesion#Sources where I have placed a list of textbooks I have, most of them in pdf format. I have placed a dropbox link for 3 of them, and I plan to upload the rest at some point. If you want to download those, please help yourself, and if you particularly want any of the others sooner rather than later just let me know and I will upload them. Kind regards, Lesion (talk) 12:49, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
Toothache
editHey Bouncingmolar - you seem to have greater skill copy writing than I do. If you have the time and/or inclination could you take a look at toothache history section. Lesion and I are reworking the entire article right now (still a work in progress) but it will be some time before we get to the history. The section already has lots of references but it reads horribly. If you're not interested, no worries. Thx. Ian Furst (talk) 23:55, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- Ahem, I wrote that history section thank you very much. ;-p Lesion (talk) 00:55, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
- Holy dooly. Who would have known there'd be so much information to write on toothaches. Thats one full on article you have there, I'm not sure where I'd start :) Bouncingmolar (talk) 11:08, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
