Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Fighting Irish, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Irish Catholicism (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I was perusing the list of editors available for adoption and your listing caught my eye. I perused your User page, joined a couple of the animal-based wikiprojects you have listed, and came to the conclusion that you'd likely be a good fit for a mentor. You and I seem to have some similar interests, but the primary draw was that your strengths are in the areas where I feel I'm weakest, creating and expanding articles. I'd appreciate if you'd consider adopting me, though if you're unable or unwilling, I understand completely.Khan Tiger02:08, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

The Warriors' Star
This award is given to Brambleberry of RiverClan for your significant contributions to articles related to the Warriors novel series. Your contributions are greatly appreciated, and we at WikiProject Warriors would like to thank you for your work. For your work maintaining the project (making me feel less guilty about not editing so much these days), I hereby present to you the Warriors Star! Thank you, Bramblestar of RiverClan, and keep up the great work! Brambleclawx01:04, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

Hello Brambleberry of RiverClan. You have listed yourself as an active contributor of WikiProject Warriors, but as we are trying to see who is still active, we have put all active contributors under "status pending." If you are still active, go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Warriors and move your name to "Active." Move your name to "Inactive" if you no longer wish to contribute. You may always move it back. On January 26, 2013, all members who have not listed themselves as active will be moved to the "inactive" section. Thank you!

Wow look at me, suddenly flooding your talk page. Anyway, just curious: where'd you get those approximate lengths? I was very surprised to see them, but feel like I've seen them somewhere before... Brambleclawx17:28, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
I see. I knew it was familiar! Too bad Wikipedia doesn't count Wikia as a reliable source... does Warriors Wiki cite anything? Brambleclawx01:18, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I saw your cleanup in an attempt to get Warriors to FA. I'll be happy to help, especially with awkward sentences when someone feels the need to throw in upcoming books without rewriting the sentence to fix it. Unfortunately, the only references given are when the distance first appears, not what the approximate length is. However, they do make sense. Fox-length, for example, would be how long a fox is from head to tail, and the 80 cm given is within the range of 46 to 90 cm. Feel free to remove it, though. öBrambleberry_ meow _ watch me in action15:08, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
P.S., as an afterthought: Would you mind helping me with just a little task? In my sandbox right now is a work-in-progress of what will become the main Survivors page, as opposed to The Empty City. I don't intend to make it a real page until after A Hidden Enemy comes out and I read it, but at the same time I do need a little help. In the "inspirations and origins" section I included the story of Seekers, as HarperCollins suggested dogs first. However, I cannot find any reference of when HarperCollins, I can assume, contacted Holmes again about dogs. This would be integral to the section. öBrambleberry_ meow _ watch me in action15:12, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
Well, actually, I'm not as well versed in Seekers or Survivors, having read neither. I'm also not aware whether Survivors even has anything to do with Vicky Holmes; I always believed it was entirely separate with HarperCollins just recycling the name... I can dig into it a little, but I'll need some time. I guess I have some time until Hidden Enemy is out though, so I'll try my best. Brambleclawx02:55, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
I like to be adapted

I can't find any dates either. To the best of my knowledge this means that no producers, directors, film stars or actors did die in 1902. When this doesn't apply, you simply leave out the section altogether. öBrambleberry_ meow _ watch me in action23:37, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

I have a question for you regarding the Tamaskan Dog article, as you are a much more experienced editor than I am. I'm wondering if the references on said article to the breed club site are acceptable. It's been discussed in the past that references to breed clubs that are recognized by an external body (Kennel Club, AKC) are acceptable, but the 'Tamaskan Dog Register' is not recognized as such and most of the references can't be accessed unless you register for an account. I'm tempted to simply remove all of them, but I also feel that might be misconstrued as a bad-faith edit. Advice? --TKKbark !14:53, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
It doesn't look that good to me. However, you don't want a slew of editors telling you what you did was wrong and horrible. My advice is to let editors to the page know on the Tamaskan Dog talk page that you intend to remove references to the Tamaskan Dog Register and invite them to voice their opinions on it. If there are enough good reasons to keep it, allow them to keep it. Otherwise, feel free to get rid of these references. öBrambleberryofRiverClan22:01, 22 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi! Thanks for your really detailed but still clear and accessible answer to a Teahouse guest (and ip) about how to add references. I don't need to tell you how important a skill that is, and you made it approachable for a new and likely confused editor. Thanks for doing that!
Also, in case you were wondering, we're trying a new experiment centered around 'acknowledgements' in the Teahouse. If you see someone doing something awesome, find the Badge that fits best and share it with them. More details are linked on the Badge itself. Cheers!
A good answer is one that fits in with the Teahouse expectations of proper conduct: polite, patient, simple, relies on explanations not links, and leaves a talkback notification.

Hi, I believe you have adopted this user - please can you have a quick word with them, their behaviour at RFA/RFB is becoming increasingly disruptive and they are scarily close to an indefinite block. Regards, GiantSnowman11:04, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

Are you still accepting requests for projects too big for non-Wiki-Pumas? I've been thinking for a while that we need a List of paganism-related deletion discussions. Presumably it would go under WikiProject Religion, but I'm not a member and there was zero response when I suggested it there. I kind of hope it wouldn't often be needed, but articles on (neo-)pagan topics are vulnerable to entrenched bias and I was lucky to find out when Swedish Forn Sed Assembly was nominated for deletion; it was added to the Sweden-related deletion discussions list, which I have watchlisted, but there is no such effective option for US/UK pagan topics. I'm afraid I would make a gigantic mess if I tried to set this up myself. Are you up for this or have you already done 5, or do you have any problem with doing this, such as the WikiProject not being interested? If either of the latter, no problem, forget I asked :-) Yngvadottir (talk) 19:03, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
I regret to inform you that while I am open to tasks, I am afraid that I would create a mess just as big as you would, if not bigger. I could always try my best, however. öBrambleberryofRiverClan20:28, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
