I'm just a casual WP user, making edits about eight or ten times per year, usually for grammar or typos. I created my username several years ago, then didn't use it for a while. I made an inappropriate edit (in good faith, but without citation) today, and another user undid it and explained why. This is an old issue, and I regret not responding at the time. Sorry for my inappropriate, unintended change. I was using a filter that substitutes other words for profanity. It didn't occur to me that it would do so while editing a wiki. I didn't notice the change, and then didn't go back and compare my revision with the most recent. I'm no longer using that filter.
