Dear MaranoFan,

edit

Several years ago I was uploading unofficial covers to songs. When you rightfully called me out and reverted my edits, I was very rude to you. I'm sorry. You didn't deserve the words I said to you. You have worked very hard and poured countless hours on this site to make sure that Meghan Trainor, a person whose work I admire very much, is well represented and well featured on Wikipedia.

Thank you, Calhounmuse (talk) 08:36, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Okay, there's a few things I wanna say. Firstly, MaranoFan, I'd like to apologize. In retrospect I agree that File:Taylor Swift - Gorgeous.jpg doesn't really belong, but that wasn't my issue. My issue is that you used my past mistakes as a way to make your argument hold more weight when the discussion had nothing to do with it, and you knew that or you were too lazy to care. That, and twisting my words to make more sense of what you were saying. It was all very unprofessional and very aggravating. It was made more aggravating when I tried to reach out and actually share my grievances with you cordially, you deleted my message with nothing more to say than "Haha". How childish can you be? All that considered, I should have taken your own advice and "[Been] the better and bigger person, in situations where others won't." I let my emotions get the better of me and I said "F*ck you" and I called "a c*nt", and for that I apologize.

Secondly, Garçon de chômage. I was not familiar with WP:SOCK. I thought you could have more than one account. My intentions were never to weigh in a discussion as different people. Garçon de chômage was a way for me to leave my mistakes of Calhounmuse behind me, but I had just been with Calhounmuse for so long and I struggled with the idea of having 0 edits to my name again.

I don't want to disrupt Wikipedia. I just want to edit and improve. If I do get unblocked I'll do better to follow regs and MOS. That includes leaving both of these accounts behind me à la WP:NEWSTART (full disclosure).

You're blocked for personal attacks and proceeded to comment on another user in your unblock request. You clearly haven't learned so the block must stand. only (talk) 20:58, 12 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I only commented on them to give them an idea as to why I said what I said. I could have easily said "I'm sorry. I was wrong. Please forgive me.", but that wouldn't have shed any light. I don't want anything to do with MaranoFan, despite genuinely regretting my behavior and actions. I genuinely want to continue editing. I'm sorry for what I said and it won't happen again.

Decline reason:

The posts here don't give me any confidence that you'll interact well and collaborate with other editors. Nick-D (talk) 07:25, 26 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please unblock me. I just want a fresh start. I've been editing under Whitevenom187 since July without issues until now. I'm not a troll, I haven't ruffled any feathers, I haven't attacked anyone, and I don't want to. I just want to edit. I'm not the same editor I was a year ago, and I've gotten along with people using Whitevenom187, while on Calhounmuse I only seemed to piss people off. I only have intentions of becoming a better editor. I just want to edit.

Decline reason:

Under WP:3X, you are now banned by the community. Your best bet is to take advantage of WP:SO which requires six months with zero edits, then following WP:UNBAN. As you are banned, no admin is free to unilaterally lift your block and in my opinion, there's no meaningful chance of being unbanned at this point, given you were evading yesterday.
