Risu43 (talk) 13:52, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
- Risu43 Greetings to you. I have left some comment on the draft page so you dont need to keep coming back here to check on the comment when you rework on the draft page. Do note for a debut flim director, it is usually difficult to find independent reliable secondary source, however, there are exception sometimes. If my comments do miss some info you are looking for then kindly visit Wikipedia:The answer to life, the universe, and everything. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 14:43, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
I have changed the external links to references. Also added a free-to-use licence to the picture. Hope that's OK now. Many thanks, Sjors Scheres (talk) 15:32, 31 July 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I saw you moved my article to draftspace. Could you clarify where I need to have more references? The articles on past tournaments only have one reference each and they remain published. Thanks Hurricane321 (talk) 19:37, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
- Hurricane321 Greetings. The draft article need inline citations with independent, reliable secondary sources from major newspaper that talk about the subject directly and not main passing mentioned. What you have provided are primary sources that the sources are affiliated/associated of the subject. Add the play off results from the newspaper reports and that will do. Pop back here if you need further clarification or assistance. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 01:53, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for reviewing the Draft:Bijan Najafi. I am still learning about the process but did my best to address your comment. I wonder if there is any other concerns that should address? I appreciate your time and your further comments. Many thanks! Bijan

- Hi Fly High in the Sky Greeting. You are welcome. Do note, pls do NOT revert more than 3 times in 24 time frame on the same article for you will violate the WP:3RR guidelines and would be subject to be blocked. Kindly discuss with the editor you have dispute on content on article talk page and do note all content added/changed should be supported by independent, reliable secondary source and if both of you can not reach an agreement, then bring it to Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard Do pop by if I could help anything further. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:19, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
In response to comments on Wenguang Sun's page: those items titled references are meant to be hyperlinks to relevant articles and are thus not "circular" references back to Wikipedia. The confusion will be addressed and the page resubmitted for review.
- 73.106.93.211 Greetings. [6], [7] and [8] are parked under 'reference" section. Content need inline citation and secondary reliable independent source. Please read the comment on the article and rework as needed. Do let me know anything else I could help. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 16:06, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
- CASSIOPEIA With regards to "secondary reliable independent source", did NYT not suffice? [[| ]]([[|talk]])
- 73.106.93.211 Hi, NYT is a reliable source, but it is an interview piece, that makes it primary and not secondary, as the content is obtain from the subject directly and that is same as this source. An article need at least 3 independent, reliable secondary source which directly talk about the subject and not merely passing mentioned sources to demonstrate meeting subject notability requirements. Sources can be in any languages, as long as they are fit the source requirements as mentioned above. Please do cite the sources in the bodytext (inline citation) - see referencing for beginners and kindly read WP:Your First Article on how to write an article and citing in Wikipedia. Do pop back if anything else I could help. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 18:02, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

Vera King
Dear Cassiopeia,
please excuse my insistence. The contribution "Vera King" is now seven weeks in the review. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Vera_King
I know, you guys are extremely busy and don't want to be pressured. Which would be anyway counterproductive, I guess.
Looking at similar submissions of the same date (June 19), the most are new "submission declined" from June to August. Vera's latest declined submission was on April 10, which I reworked and put it on submission again on June 19.
Because I did not find a comparable contribution, I reach out to you. Is it possible, "Vera King" has been accidentally overseen?
Happy to hear from you.
Best, Ruediger

You left the below comment on the page I created but the page is specific to the United Kingdom! There are existing Wiki pages for United States and Portugal versions so I don't see why you're blocking my page for the UK specific service?
Comment: There is an existing Eleven Sports Network in Wikipedia, pls merge the the content of this draft page to the existing page. and inserting db-g7 (author request for deletion) on the draft page. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:46, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
- Youthgonewild83 Greetings. Eleven Sports Network is not the US site but the parent company. Draft:Eleven Sports Network UK has very little additional that of Eleven Sports Network and that is same as the other US and Portugal page. I have move the page to mainspace but all the existing pages are start class, in my opinion they should all merge to parent company. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 04:13, 11 August 2018 (UTC)

I have listened to a few of his pieces and they are lovely to my ears. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 13:26, 11 August 2018 (UTC)

Hello, Some Problem I Think You Should Know About
I only use Wiki to read things, I've not edited a page since I was a little boy putting funny words in articles over 10 years ago. I opened Wiki trying to find info on somebody and saw that I had 5 messages sent to me?! I had never seen such a thing. They were all reprimands from some various people and even a ban! I was very perplexed. Some digging seemed to indicate that my account was linked to my IP and they were making edits to pages without sufficient evidence. They seemed to be biased towards Roman Catholicism and trying to edit that various celebrities were or had been devout Catholics. I'm not even Christian! Unless I've been slipped some sort of pill and been sleep-editing Wikipedia as a Catholic-biased alter-ego of myself, there must be some sort of funny business going on here... Please help, I don't like my computer's information being stolen like this!
108.45.81.234 (talk) 21:01, 19 August 2018 (UTC) Safa Farhoumand
(P.S. I'm sorry if I've made any sort of mistakes in my formatting or am submitting this in the wrong place, this whole thing is very confusing to me)
- 108.45.81.234, Greetings. From you contribution page See HERE show the vandalized/disruptive edits were performed from the IP address 108.45.81.234 in mobile edit mode. Wikipedia could not identified non register editor via IP address but we would not know who was/were actually performed the edit. To avoid this, you could register as a user, see WP:ACCOUNT and save guard your password and make sure no one use your computer when you log in. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 18:01, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
Thank you for helping me! I've been looking through the log of edits they have made and they all seem to be a strange slant to make Catholicism look more positive or celebrities more Catholic than they really are. For example, they once tried to say that Mark Wahlberg attended daily church services. Please look into permabanning this IP from making edits, I don't mind getting banned along with them b/c I would never make an edit anyway. They also try to sneak things under legitimate sources. One elebrity, for instance, said she like "yoga, hiking, exercise" or something along those lines, but this person who shares my IP slipped Church into there for some reason, even though the source does not mention it. I don't know the mission statement for this website, but I think this goes in direct violation of the goal of objective messages reaching the people that Wiki seems to espouse. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.45.81.234 (talk) 19:31, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

- hi Smarttbutt Greetings to you. Notability of the subject need to support by [WP:RS|independent, reliable sources]] where by the sources talk about the subject "directly" in length and in dept and not merely passing mentioned. Listing, homepage, any sources which affiliated with the subject, user generated sites, interviews, etc are considered not independent and / or reliable and can not demonstrate the notability of the subject. Example sources from major newspaper would be suitable especially on subject won the national cup/trophy. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 18:33, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
- Dear CASSIOPEIA
- Thank you for explaining it further. I'm a bit confused as I see tons of articles in the similar filed with only one reference. What is the difference between this, for example : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anisa_Petrova and the one I'm working on?
- Many thanks for your guidance!Smarttbutt (talk) 08:09, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Smarttbutt, For a article to be considered notable, it needs to cited by independence, reliable source in significant coverage for such normally we would request three reliable independent sources. Poor sourcing article could be challenged and propose for deletion and we have over 5mil article in English Wikipedia and Wikipedia:Other stuff exists do exists prior we have a chance to get to look into it and would help your to understand why.Wikipedia is forever a work in progress; it contains high quality articles and poor quality articles. The existence of articles that lacking necessary sources required as per Wikipedia's policies and guidelines and it is not a good excuse to create more such articles. T If you wish to learn from example articles, please see article which we considered Wikipedia's best. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 09:00, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
- I see, Cassiopeia, will work on it.
- Just to bring to your attention that the person who created the article I referenced gained certain level of wikirecognition thanks to creating tens (!) of thousands of articles such as that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Lugnuts I wonder if it somehow was missed...
- Thanks again! Smarttbutt (talk) 11:39, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
- Smarttbutt Hi Good day. We the editors same as you are volunteers and spending our time as we see fit of our services on Wikipedia pages/maintenance/other works. Some of the pages we do know might not be fit to be a stand alone pages on Wikipedia main space, but due to lack of time resources, interest of the page, knowledge of the subject and editors are free to choose what their interest and time spend of their choosing. We know there are thousands of pages should not be in Wikipedia and we also need more volunteer editors assistance and article in Wikipedia is forever a working in progress. I thank you for interest in creating pages in Wikipedia and hope you would stay and do pop by if anything I would help. Have a good day. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 03:20, 22 August 2018 (UTC)

What do you mean by "constructive"? Every major MMA fighter has a record displayed on their Wikipedia page and I followed the same template. i.e. Michael Bisping, Chris Weidman, David Branch (fighter). If mine isn't constructive neither are any of theirs.Toeknee44 (talk) 15:13, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
I went to Rockhold's page to look up his fight history and their wasn't one. Every single fighter (almost) has their record breakdown displayed. So I took the time to create one for Rockhold since I saw the information wasn't displayed and thought there had to be others that came here to see it and saw the same listing on every other page wasn't there. If this is removed then the others should be likewise. Jon Jones, Vitor Belfort, Chuck Liddell, Rich Franklin, Chris Leben, etc. Toeknee44 (talk) 15:25, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
- Toeknee44 Good day. Thank you for talking so much time adding Luke Rockhold's MMA table and painstakingly added all the sources for his fights. Appreciated it. However pls see read below comment.
- Please see your edits (what you have added in prior by my roll back) HERE. If you scroll down the page a little further you would see there is already a MMA record. What you added on was a double entry - pls see the MMA fighter article structure as per WikiProject MMA guidlines.
- Secondly, the method is based on Sherdog.com unless otherwise stated in the bodytext where it is cited - thus I reverted your edit. I saw you have added the sources on each fight on the MMA table on Luke Rockhold, and I would understand the reason as they would be easy to for readers to fight the sources instead from the body text, however, we MMA editor do not add in the sources on "Note" section on the MMA record table as we follow the Wikipedia:WikiProject Mixed martial arts under the WP:MMABOX, instead the fight info and outcome would be placed in the bodytext with cited sources. Here is the List of current UFC fighters and you would check on the fighters' MMA record tables for your perusal. If I dont removed the cited sources on Rockhold's MMA record table, some other regular MMA editors would.
- I am a regular and active WikiProject MMA editors, let me know if anything I could help and if you are interested in editing MMA pages, it would be great if you would like to be part of the community and add your name on Wikipedia:WikiProject Mixed martial arts/Participants. Cheers. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 03:10, 22 August 2018 (UTC)
- Toeknee44 Good day. Thank you for talking so much time adding Luke Rockhold's MMA table and painstakingly added all the sources for his fights. Appreciated it. However pls see read below comment.
- Your reverted edit said nothing about sources and only stated it was moved since it wasn't viewed as constructive. Toeknee44 (talk) 11:38, 22 August 2018 (UTC)
- And I know it doesn't belong in notes. But another user removed since I didn't cite my sources but all of the fighters pages don't cite sources and have their information from Sherdog. Toeknee44 (talk) 11:42, 22 August 2018 (UTC)
- Toeknee44 Hi, the revert is not about source but about not constructive as it added info what already there in a whole lot and changing the methods of fight results which was not accordance to the guidelines which on your edits as stated on hist mentioned above and not of your your latest edits of adding sources on mma fight table. It is true for most fighter page besides on the body text the sources are indicated, but not the fight table. However, I believe I placed of the articles I created at the bottom of the table, indicating source from Sherdog (after the table on the left). see here Khalil Rountree Jr., Danielle Taylor (fighter), Gerald Meerschaert and etc. Since it does not indicated in the WikiProject MMA guideline to place the source after the table, for such most editor who created the page did not placed it there. I have yet to have time to do for all fighters' pages yet, will come around it when time is availbe. If you want you could do so if that interests you. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk)

- Angel juan lopez martinez Greetings to you. You have placed a WP:PRIMARY source in the article instead what we after independent, reliable source such as source from newspaper indicating the competitions (who win the final swim leg). You would add another column on the right of the tables to house the source. Once you have done that, pop by and let me know and I will review it. Secondly, the draft article needs a WP:LEAD - a few attendances talk about what this draft article about (such as when it held, the date, of what countries/regions/, since when it was established, how many events in the competition, etc.) Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 11:13, 23 August 2018 (UTC)
Dear Cassiopea,
Unfortunately I don't have more information about the article. It's true that during Its elaboration I searched some dates in articles or news from the era to confirm, but I don`t make a note of these. So, I invite other contributors to complete and to do the imprevements you demand me.
Best regards.

- Ppt1973 Good day. It slipped my mind and thought the bout has been scheduled for Brazil instead of Argentina. Appreciate your kind gesture of informing and correcting. Cheers! CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:45, 23 August 2018 (UTC)
- Ppt1973 Hey Ppt1973, just let you know that I have updated the correct source for Yair Rodriguez injury as the previous source was Magny vs. Pnsinibbio's. Cheers :). CASSIOPEIA(talk) 01:45, 24 August 2018 (UTC)

Autoconfirmed now
Hey Cassiopeia! As you are aware, I've been contributing to Wikipedia for a few days now, and I submitted a few articles as Drafts to the Articles for Creation space. Is there any mechanism for me to retract those draft submissions, and now that I am autoconfirmed, create them directly in the mainspace and await review from senior editors? Let me know. Thank you, and kind regards. Spinster300 (talk) 14:43, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
- Spinster300 Hi Good day. I have seen you have created a lot of article in the main space in Wikipedia. I have not have time to run through time yet, do note, if the subject is not notable and / or the content is not supported by independent reliable sources which talk about the subject directly in length and in dept, it will subject to move to article for deletion. If the above is talking care of then all is good. Try to expand the article to develop the article further, instate just a one standard article. To learn how to expand an article you would visit article similar to the interest article or better still visit good article and see what and how a it is written. Thank you and happy editing. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 12:35, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- CASSIOPEIA, I am left a little confused – does this mean that if the sources are reliable, I can retract my draft submissions and put them directly in the main space for general review? My drafts so far yet to be reviewed are: Draft:Michael Provost, Draft:Hunter Avallone, Draft:Siddharth Menon (actor), and Draft:Dhruv Ganesh. Do let me know how I may proceed. Thank you and kind regards. Spinster300 (talk) 12:41, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- Spinster300, Some of the sources you provided in the main space / draft space are not independent nor reliable such as IMBD, home pages, listing (sport), subject's affiliated sites (such as player's club site). Sources could be reliable such as from major newspaper but might not be independent if the article is a interview piece as the info is from the subject themselves. Sources need to be not only both reliable and dependent but the subject is talk about in length and in dept and the content need to have multiple such sources (at least 3 independent reliable sources) to demonstrate the notability of the subject where by the sources could be verfiied.
- Please see below brief explanation of source types and examples (we are after secondary sources here)
- I review both AfC and NPP. Article for Creation (AfC) (draft article) is design for new and unregistered editors and NPP (new page article) is cater for auto-confirmed editors and both would subject to review (if approve) prior could be found in search engine. Even thought auto-confirmed editor could create a page without going through AfC, it does not mean the editors know what is needed/accepted by Wikipedia when it come to create an article. For new auto-confirmed editors most of the time the article would send back to draft page because either the subject is not notable and / or sources are not provided / sources provided are not independent and reliable.
- You could more your draft page to main space, but it will send back to draft space it the above mentioned is not achieved. in AfC, the reviewer would advise you what you need to do and links would be provided and communication is established. Either way, the backlog for both AfC and NPP is a few months as we have thousands of article to review. In addition, even if an article has been accepted, it would still subject to Article for deletion if later found the subject is not notable. Please read subject notability requirements (note: a footballer notability would be different from a MMA fighter even both subjects are considered sportsmen/sportswomen, and an actor would be required different notability that of a politician and etc) - see notability requirements. If you want I would look review your drafts in next two days for you. Let me know.

Cheers 13:12, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- Dear CASSIOPEIA, I cannot begin to thank you enough for this easy-to-understand gold! I have snooped around Wikipedia's guidelines and perused rules on BLPs, as they are called, since they are the most fun to write. I will keep all of your points in mind going forward. Please do review my drafts if you can find the time, and help me improve on them! Thank you and kind regards, Spinster300 (talk) 17:44, 26 August 2018 (UTC).
- Spinster300 Greetings. I have noticed Draft:Hunter Avallone, Draft:Siddharth Menon (actor), and Draft:Dhruv Ganesh have been reviewed and deleted.
- Draft:Michael Provost also has been reviewed and PROD, but you did not improve the article and removing the tag. I agree with @SummerPhDv2.0:, the subject does not pass WP:NACTOR. I have AfDed it. By the way, I saw you deleted all the comments/messages on your talk page. You are allowed to do so since it is your talk page; however, I would advised you not do as when you ask fro any permission/tools/rights, admin would check your account (everything you edits/delelted/ talk pages and etc) and would raise questions of your intention/motivation of why you delete your talk page info. It is normal for new editors to do mistakes or draft was declined/PRODed/AfDed/deleted as it is part of the learning process. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 11:48, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
- CASSIOPEIA - thank you so very much for all the help you have given me! I have already learned so much in my short while here, and I believe this is key experience for me for becoming an experienced editor on Wikipedia. May I know how I can archive my talk page instead? I haven't been able to find any suitable guides for this action - though I see your talk page has one. I wanted to archive them and not delete them. Regarding the drafts: Michael Provost was accepted by AfC, whereas Dhruv Ganesh and Hunter Avallone were deleted by me, since their notability was limited to begin with. The Siddharth Menon (actor) draft, I asked once again at the Teahouse the same query I had with you, and as per the discussion there I was told I can move it into the article space and await general review. Since I am new here, Michael Provost does remain notable in my eyes, and I suspect his article may be expanded potentially, but since protocol is established and if consensus is reached that it is not suitable to have his article at present, I wouldn't want to object. I will admit to some Wiki-guilt for stirring up so much trouble and sincerely apologize for wasting so much precious editing time from other users with my restless queries (Wikipedia addiction is real, haha!), Once again, thank you so very much, and kindest regards, Spinster300 (talk) 12:56, 28 August 2018 (UTC).
- Spinster300 It is common for new editors to make mistakes and I was one of them. As long as you have taken the advice from more experience editors and follow their instructions, read the links provided, understand Wikipedia guidelines and policies and edit constructively, you are on the right path. If you want to archive your talk page, you first need to undelete the messages. What you can do is to go the "history" of your talk page and select the "diff" - click the dot of the version all the messages were there and the click the top of the latest (scroll down the page to make you all messages are here before you save the page). You can add achieve template on your talk page - (1) Template:Talk header and (2) Template:Archives (follow the instructions). Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 13:35, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
- CASSIOPEIA - I will follow your instructions, thank you so very much! May I get back to you if in case I need help? Spinster300 (talk) 13:38, 28 August 2018 (UTC).
Spinster300 Sure, pop by there anytime if you need help, or I will point you to other editor if I dont know the answer of your question. By the way, you dont need to ping me (or any editor on their talk page) when you send a message to them as they will receive a notification); however, you need to ping the editor in all other talk page. ( such as I need to ping you on my talk page, but if I write a message to you on your talk page, then I dont need to ping you and just type "Hi Spinster300, .....") Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 13:44, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
- Ah, okay! Thank you! Spinster300 (talk) 13:53, 28 August 2018 (UTC).

- Hi Omar Mahmood Hayat You are welcome. Besides Redirect - (1) subject is redirect to a existing article where the redirect subject is related where it is not yet qualify a page in Wikipedia but will be in the near future, it is used (2) Same subject but with different names such as MBA basketball player Earvin Johnson Jr. is redirect to Magic Johnson (common name), Phillip Jack Brooks (WWE fighter) is redirect to CM Punk, Marshall Bruce Mathers III / M and M (rapper) is redirect to Eminem and etc. However, try not to redirect if it is not neccessry as the name is not available for other editor to create the same name but different subject. If you wan to create an article, please make sure the subject meets the notability requirements. Do note an actor has different notability as to a politician, a basketball player has different notability requirment as compared to a mixed martial arts fighter and etc. You could find the notability requirements HERE. Happy editing. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 12:06, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
