editHi, you're adding some info into Transnistria article, supporting it with ref name=imf91 tag. There is no ref with that name, and your edits cause a red "Cite error: Invalid ref tag ..." to appear at the beginning of "References" section. Please fix your edits. --windyhead (talk) 16:49, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

Hello, CatJar. I noticed you have been doing some good work on decades-related articles lately. I have been trying to improve the 1890s article for the last few days. It was rather short and unreferenced before, tagged with various issues. I added several events and references. Could you check for mistakes and omissions? I would appreciate the effort. - Plasma Guns are thee weapon of choice, and have been for over 9 years. Ever since they were invented in a Lockheed Martin labatory in 2022, and made for the streets in 2036, they outnumber bullet guns 5-to-1. Some still prefer the old kind, but they dont live long to prefer it enough. In any given neighbourhood, you will have about 12 or more gun fights a night.
- In the streets, there are certain groups of which certain people are decided by parentage, peers, or fate where to belong. These are called classes. The lowest class, the DieYongs, have no job and are usually kids and teens. Include Teen Gangs, Schoolers, and Protstites. Guess how they get their name. The average life expectancy is 21 years. The middle class, the Durg Offrs, sell drugs as a way of life and as a way of keeping their lives, because nobody wants to kill the hand that feeds them, except other Durg Offrs. Life Expectancy: 25-30 years. Then the Candymen, top of the food chain. They make the drugs within U.S. Borders, and sell them for higher prices, so that they can afford protection. They make Mafia sound like some kids who want your lunch money. They live in the years of 40+.
Decade montages dispute
editI have no intension of having edit wars with you. Please reach consensus in the discussion pages before adding new images or replacing images in the decade montages. TheCuriousGnome (talk) 05:23, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- I have no intention of getting into editing wars with you either, but I was the one who originally started the decade montages back in 2008. They were deleted at first, but they came back, thanks to you. I don't want this to turn into something bad, but I think the decade montages should be a collaborative effort. The oil crisis of the 70s is a little more well known than the Apollo 14 moon landings, and a bit more associated with the decade. The photos of the Berlin wall and the Iraq-Iran war in the 1980s montage, are more clearer, and definitely more striking. In short, I hope we can work together with other users in making the best decade montages for Wikipedia. CatJar (talk) 05:34, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- I do not agree with your choices. You cannot keep on reverting the images forever - you need to reach consensus in the discussion pages before adding new images or replacing images in the decade montages. TheCuriousGnome (talk) 13:20, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- Question? What discussion page? Look,, these images are public domain, so there is no harm there, but you just can't be designing all these montages yourself and not letting other users help or improving them a little. One thing I do greatly disagree on the is the Apollo 14 moon landing, is just make an sense why that should be there. You might as well put Apollo 15, 16, and 17 there too. Besides there is already an Apollo 11 on the 1960s montage. The oil crisis is more well-known and more of a reference to the 70s decade. Let other people contribute to these montages too. CatJar (talk) 17:43, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- The only way to settle this dispute is by reaching a consensus in the discussion page of each decade concerning the specific selection of photos. Please bring it up there instead of reverting the changes. I will have no problem if the community would agree with your choices. TheCuriousGnome (talk) 19:16, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- I have started discussions for all the 20th century montages so that we'll be able to reach a consensus regarding the final result of these montages. I have no intention of having edit wars with you. Please refreain from replacing images in the decade montages or adding new ones until the issues we have are resulted through consensus in the discussion pages. Generations
editWhile you have added some interesting information on this page, you have deleted the works of others and changed all the dates. Please refrain from doing so again or it will be considered vandalism. If you continue to edit in this manner, you will be reported.A consensus was reached on the terminology and dates, along with the phrasing used for each generation's intro., with sources to back them up. Generation X ends with 1981 birth years/1999 graduates (absolute last years used) and graduates of the Class of 2000 are Millennial Gen./Generation Y. I will go ahead and re-add some of the information from the other generation pages, but the photos are out of place in this article. A famous person does not represent a whole generation. Photos of pop icons are somewhat acceptable in montages if representing music genres, movies, etc. CreativeSoul7981 (talk) 06:33, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:2000s decade montage2.png
editThanks for uploading File:2000s decade montage2.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Replaceable fair use File:Bioregion of Cascadia.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Bioregion of Cascadia.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. ☼ 09:17, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
