Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Regeneration (Doctor Who), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Doomsday (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello Catholic nerd,
It seems to me that an article you worked on, Trial of the Valeyard, may be copied from http://www.combom.co.uk/2013/12/doctor-who-trial-of-valeyard-synopsis.html. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.
It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.
Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 22:44, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. editThe article Master Man (Quality Comics) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TTN (talk) 01:15, 7 December 2019 (UTC)

editReign of Elizabeth II moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Reign of Elizabeth II, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Bruxton (talk) 22:43, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
- I have decided to take the Reign of Elizabeth II section and re-purpose it for that page, thinking the length means it would be more suitable for that page. I could summarise the existing article while doing so, though will do so when I have more time. When you have reviewed the page of Elizabeth II I could show my summarised version. Catholic nerd (talk) 23:14, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
edit Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Elizabeth II into Draft:Reign of Elizabeth II. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 23:12, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
- I was thinking that due to the length of the reign section it would be better to have a page devoted to the reign. So I am planning to move this page's info there and summarise the content on the main Elizabeth II page. Where should I put your copied content comment on the page? After all the references? Catholic nerd (talk) 23:23, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hello, Catholic nerd,
- If you are looking for answers, I recommend bringing your questions to either the Teahouse or AFC Help Desk. Editors patrolling these pages are there to help with problems just like this one. Good luck. Liz Read! Talk! 02:25, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
- In this case, I have already provided the attribution for you in the edit summary of this diff; my message here was just an FYI for any future instances of copying. Thanks, DanCherek (talk) 03:36, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
- Ah I see, thank you for clarifying and for sorting this out. Catholic nerd (talk) 19:06, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
