Hello, Celinanguyen, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Request reason:

Hi! I am a student at the University of Arizona. I am currently taking a class which has assigned a wikipedia post as a project. Unfortunatelybecasue of my location and the IP address that I am associated with I have been blacked from making any edits. I have not made edits before so I don't think the problem is anything I am doing. Is there a way for me to be excluded from the block on this IP address? Thank you!

Decline reason:

As far as I can tell, you aren't currently blocked. PhilKnight (talk) 00:59, 4 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Could you tell us please what message you are getting? It looks to me like you are editing from an IP range that has been blocked but only for anonymous users; registered accounts such as yours shouldn't have any problems. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 06:37, 3 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
The block has been removed, so I can edit pages now. Thank you for your assistance! Celinanguyen (talk) 19:18, 7 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Celinanguyen/sandbox

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Celinanguyen/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eco-capitalism. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
