Proposed deletion of Subdivisions of Lebanon
The article Subdivisions of Lebanon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Duplication of Lebanon#Governorates and districts.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Batternut (talk) 11:52, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

CAF CL + CC CHANGES
You are right i have mistaken the number of matches there are only extra 24 matches, 12 for each extra group . i have doubled the number by mistake. Now the increase only in the group stage matches, hence the quarter finales matches is only the same Second round in CL and Play off round in CC previous tournaments. they are the same they have just changed their time to be after group stages! (Albicelestes) 17:40, 21 February 2017 (GMT+2)
CAF CL + CC CHANGES (correction)
I can understand now they are only extra 16 matches, hence the quarter finales matches is involving only 8 teams not 16 as the Second round in CL and Play off round in CC of previous tournaments. this is the last correction! (Albicelestes) 18:20, 22 February 2017 (GMT+2)

2017–18 UEFA Youth League
Hello. I appreciate your work that you have done at the 2017–18 UEFA Youth League. I'm Albanian and I'm interested to be noticed if my country wil represent with one team at "domestic champions path", that's why I have added this page at my watchlist. I want to make you a question about your recent edits related with previous season champions Red Bull Salzburg, why you removed Finald, the association ranked last as participater on "domestic champions path" when Austria was already participater before them? Thank you. Eni.Sukthi.Durres (talk) 19:52, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Eni.Sukthi.Durres: According to this season's regulations [1] (Article 3.03): "The UEFA Youth League titleholder automatically qualifies for the domestic champions path if it does not qualify for the competition in accordance with Paragraph 3.01, provided there is a vacancy." At this point, Red Bull Salzburg has not qualified through either Champions League Path or Domestic Champions Path, so they have taken one of the vacancies. However, this could change soon because Salzburg is leading the U18 league [2], and of course they could also enter the Champions League Path if their senior team qualifies for UCL group stage. In that case, the vacancy is not needed and Finland (or whoever comes next, next next, etc.) will get back in. This is a new rule because last season Chelsea could not defend their title because they could not qualify through UCL or English youth league. Chanheigeorge (talk) 20:01, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- Got it thank you very much. Can you answer me for another question please, I wanted to know how many chances has Albania (my country) to participate in domestic champions path for now (without expecting the play-off round of the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League); I see 8 teams from 5 championships but I don't know which give us opportunity to participate: Juventus is still in play to win it:Campionato Primavera 2016-2017 and also Roma which isn't still qualified for UEFA Champions League, Monaco is the only French team which can win U19 league, but what I don't know is if Benfica and Porto (Portugal), Feyeenoord (Netherlands) and Basel (Swiss) are still in play to win their respective U19 leagues, do you have sources? Thank you. Eni.Sukthi.Durres (talk) 20:25, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Eni.Sukthi.Durres: Personally I don't keep track of all the youth leagues day-to-day, because it is quite difficult to do so, although easier for bigger countries. From the leagues you mention, looks like Sporting CP (in UCL play-offs) is going to win the Portuguese U19 [3], I think Ajax (in UCL play-offs and will qualify for GS if they win UEL tonight) has won the Dutch U19 [4], and Basel is in the Swiss U18 play-offs as the seed #1 after winning the regular season [5]. There are also a few youth domestic champions that have a chance to qualify and move to UCL path, such as Dynamo Kyiv, Olympiacos, APOEL, etc. So I think it is likely Albania will get in, they are ranked 39, and last season Montenegro was ranked 41 and the last team to get in, but you may have to wait until the UCL play-offs are finished. Chanheigeorge (talk) 03:46, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- Got it and thank you very much for being clear with me, I wish you good work, respect. Eni.Sukthi.Durres (talk) 10:51, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Chanheigeorge:I think one place is missing at the moment in a Domestic Champion Path. There should be 32 places but at the moment there are 31. Finland should be already included.
There are 4 teams who free up spaces for lower ranking countries ( Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, Anderlecht) plus Liechtenstein who has no U19 league so 5 places outside should be used. At the moment only 4 were move up to higher table in this Wikipedia article.Bartar29 (talk) 22:25, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Bartar29: Repeating what I replied to Eni.Sukthi.Durres above:
- According to this season's regulations [6] (Article 3.03): "The UEFA Youth League titleholder automatically qualifies for the domestic champions path if it does not qualify for the competition in accordance with Paragraph 3.01, provided there is a vacancy." At this point, Red Bull Salzburg has not qualified through either Champions League Path or Domestic Champions Path, so they have taken one of the vacancies. However, this could change soon because Salzburg is leading the U18 league [7], and of course they could also enter the Champions League Path if their senior team qualifies for UCL group stage. In that case, the vacancy is not needed and Finland (or whoever comes next, next next, etc.) will get back in. This is a new rule because last season Chelsea could not defend their title because they could not qualify through UCL or English youth league. Chanheigeorge (talk) 22:33, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Bartar29: So if Salzburg U19 win the U18 Austrian league, their place goes below (Finland 37), if their team qualifies then via Champions League play-off then another place goes even more below (Bosnia Hercegovina 38). Eni.Sukthi.Durres (talk) 12:48, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Eni.Sukthi.Durres: ,:::@Chanheigeorge: thanks for your both comments- now I understand and based what I can see online Salzburg U18 already won the league with two matches left in the season and 8 points advantage.
- @Bartar29: @Eni.Sukthi.Durres: 4th-placed Sturm Graz is 9 points behind with 3 matches to play, so there is a very slim chance they can overtake Salzburg. [8] Chanheigeorge (talk) 05:45, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Eni.Sukthi.Durres: ,:::@Chanheigeorge: thanks for your both comments- now I understand and based what I can see online Salzburg U18 already won the league with two matches left in the season and 8 points advantage.
- @Bartar29:, Chanheigeorge, However expect Salzburg, at the moment from teams that are qualified directly to the 2017–18 UEFA Champions League group stage, Juventus and Roma from Italy [9] and Basel in Switzerland [10] have chances to win domestic U19 championship to open ways for below ranked championship, so Bosnia Hercegovina (38) and Albania (39) have opportunies to qualify without waiting for UCL play-offs. Eni.Sukthi.Durres (talk) 10:42, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Eni.Sukthi.Durres: @Chanheigeorge: Would you know when & who Basel U18 play in final stage matches? I see they won the group but not sure what are the next matches to win the championship- there is information about play off for teams who finished 3-6 but there are no more details on soccerway website. Italian Primavera is well explained and visible on the Wikipedia page but I can't see Swiss U18 league with the same details. thanks
- @Bartar29: Here you can see. Eni.Sukthi.Durres (talk) 11:49, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Eni.Sukthi.Durres: @Chanheigeorge: Red Bull u18 won austrian league today
Hello, Chanheigeorge; you seem to be experienced in this subject, which is why I to chose you to ask the following question: why do Everton qualify for the EL third qualifying round rather than going straight into the group stage? The FA Cup berth is up for the taking, which should be passed down from Arsenal/Chelsea and should include qualifying straight into the group stage. An almost identical situation was seen last season in La Liga, wherein sixth-placed Celta Vigo had secured an EL group stage spot - though not having won a cup competition. Would you please be so kind as to explain how these situations are different? OlJa 20:26, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Oldstone James: The easiest answer is: because Celta was 6th and Everton is 7th. Last season, the Spanish cup winner spot was not used, so 5th and 6th in La Liga qualify for group stage, and 7th qualify for 3rd qualifying round. This season, the English cup winner spot is not used, so 5th and 6th in Premier League qualify for group stage, and 7th qualify for 3rd qualifying round. Sevilla (7th in La Liga last season) and Manchester United (6th in Premier League this season) win the UEL and qualify for UCL instead, and those spots were vacated, but the other teams in the same association are not affected in any way according to UEFA regulations. To compensate for the vacated spots, the cup winners of the highest association are promoted, e.g. this season the cup winner of Czech Republic (association 13) is promoted from 3rd qualifying round to fill Man Utd's vacated spot in the group stage. Chanheigeorge (talk) 01:18, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Chanheigeorge: Again, though, why is the more valuable FA Cup spot, offering direct qualification for group stage, vacated rather than the less valuable League Cup spot? The BPL can adjust the spots awarded as much as to provide its teams with the best European opportunities, so why does choose the worse choice? OlJa 18:05, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Oldstone James: Because this is not allowed by the regulations of the UEFA club competitions, and each FA cannot "adjust" their spots based on what they want. By the English domestic competitions this season, Arsenal and Manchester United qualified for the EL group stage, and Everton qualified for the 3rd qualifying round. So this is what must be submitted based on "sporting merit", and the spot vacated by Man Utd does not belong to the English FA, and UEFA has the authority to re-distribute the spot based on their access list. Chanheigeorge (talk) 02:09, 27 May 2017 (UTC)

UEFA Futsal Cup National Coefficient ranking

- @DinamoZagreb: Oh thanks, I guess I miss this. Again, thank you for your edit! Chanheigeorge (talk) 10:09, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- @DinamoZagreb: Wait, so UEFA use the performance of the national teams in deciding how many clubs do they get in the Futsal Cup? That is quite interesting and much different from Champions League and Europa League. Chanheigeorge (talk) 10:13, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Chanheigeorge: Unfortunately, yes. I just posted on some Croatian forum my thoughts on how UEFA dislikes futsal and this clearly shows it. Absolutely no love for it, I feel sorry for not having at least one home-away round as some teams win the whole thing without playing a single match at home. DinamoZagreb (talk) 10:30, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- @DinamoZagreb: Well maybe there will be more format changes in 2018–19 when they rename it to the UEFA Futsal Champions League. I agree they should replace at least the elite round with home-and-away matches. Chanheigeorge (talk) 10:41, 2 June 2017 (UTC)

Hello, can you please explain why you reverted my moving this from the mainspace to draftspace, without addressing the issues? All biographies of living people needs to have WP:INLINECITED sources, this doesn't. Boleyn (talk) 19:14, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- I now see you've done the same with Mazen Fayad, although it is a blp with no refs at all, just an empty references section and an external links section, with a link which may or may not have informed the article. Please stop this. Boleyn (talk) 19:19, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
WARNING
Despite repeated warnings, you are edit warring to return articles to mainspace when they are unreferenced, or have no WP:INLINECITED WP:RELIABLESOURCES and are biographies of living people, most recently today. I have moved Mazen Fayad back to Draft:Mazen Fayad. If you continue to ignore my messages (WP:CIR) and create any more articles which are not clearly referenced, I will initiate a discussion at ANI. If you still refuse to follw Wikipedia's rules, you are likely to be blocked. Just stop; it would take you little more time to do this properly. Boleyn (talk) 18:55, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
- Please also work on Draft:2015–16 UAE President's Cup, Draft:2016–17 Bahrain First Division League, Draft:2016–17 Bahraini King's Cup and Draft:2016–17 Hong Kong Season Play-off. Please work on them in the draftspace and then submit them via WP:AFC. There is no big rush to get them into mainspace before they're ready. Do not move them back to mainspace unless the issues have been properly addressed. Boleyn (talk) 19:08, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
- Returning them with refimprove tags and moving them from the draftspace by yourself instead of AFC wasn't very helpful, it makes more work for others. Boleyn (talk) 04:56, 2 August 2017 (UTC)

2017–18 UEFA Champions League
Hi! Indeed, as it has been noted, the teams in italics haven't qualified yet, but their qualification directly influences the pot assignment of the qualified teams. This way, the reader gets the whole information and I really think it helps understand the seeding system. If the teams from the play off round are included in the table, you can see which teams need to lose in the play off round in order some team to be assigned to a higher pot. I kindly ask you to reconsider your views on this matter. Vitriden (talk) 16:00, 5 August 2017 (UTC)

2018 FIFA World Cup qualification – UEFA Group H
Hi, about Eden/Thorgan Hazard and Romelu/Jordan Lukaku, I think we can use E./T. and R./T. or not, depending on whether they appeared together in squad (according to match reports). :) Centaur271188 (talk) 03:11, 11 October 2017 (UTC)
UEFA Nations League
Hey, I had a couple of questions involving the UEFA Nations League. Should the Nations League Finals eventually have its own article? Or should it just be a part of the Finals section on 2018–19 UEFA Nations League A? I presumed the UNL Finals matches would be like other major tournaments, and include the team line-ups and formation? And I'd think the League A final should have its own article probably? Also, I added some information (to UNL and Euro qualifying articles) on the play-offs based on the media briefing that UEFA put out, but is the wording adequate? The whole process seems a bit complicated, so I wanted to make sure the wording made sense and is not overly complicated or confusing. Cheers, S.A. Julio (talk) 15:44, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
- @S.A. Julio: Well, if there are lineups for all four matches, then a separate article for the final four tournament is better. If not, then we can just include in the League A article. I guess it depends on how the public/media/editors treat the importance of those matches. And the play-off scenarios are really complicated, I need some time to digest it. qualification tiebreakers group 11 2018 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship qualification
The tiebreaking criteria follow: 1. Points in head-to-head matches among tied teams; 2. Goal difference in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
Thus the order should be: 1. Finland (goal difference +7) 2. Slovenia (goal difference +2) 3. Italy (goal difference +1)
- @Max2610: You forgot head-to-head goals scored. Please see my latest edit. Chanheigeorge (talk) 15:17, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

2018 AFC Cup
I checked for the information of Hwaebul Sports Club on the web and all I could get was that, that they played against April 25 Sports Club, in 2013 or 2014, which was played in Kim Il-sung Stadium. So should we get more info about the club, or wait for the playoffs to start, and then in the match report we can see that in which stadium they are playing there home matches in. By the way, it is mentioned that Kigwancha Sports Club which played in the previous edition of the AFC Cup is based in Sinuiju, and that there home stadium is Sinuiju Stadium, but then also they played there home matches in Kim Il-sung Stadium, accroding to the AFC match reports (so yes, probably we should add Hwaebul to Pyongyang). Tell me, if you get any info about it.--Anbans 585 (talk) 06:40, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Anbans 585: Perhaps you can find some info from this page: [15]. I think some of the teams are based outside of Pyongyang, but it is almost certain that the AFC Cup matches of all North Korean teams will be played in Pyongyang. Chanheigeorge (talk) 06:46, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Chanheigeorge: This link(https://books.google.co.in/books?id=2aJSBQAAQBAJ&pg=PA136&dq=hwaebul&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj04Lrt6fnXAhUHM48KHWK2Bg8Q6AEIKzAB#v=onepage&q=hwaebul&f=false ) says that they are from Hwaebul, and that they play in Hwaebul stadium, but Google Maps doesn't show any town or city whose name is Hwaebul. Rest, I am trying to gather more info about them.--Anbans 585 (talk) 06:56, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
I asked the Facebook page of DPRK Football about the location of Hwaebul and they said that "Most of the teams are based in Pyongyang(only Rimyongsu in Sariwon and Kigwancha in Sinuiju). In any case, all the home matches will be held in Pyongyang."--Anbans 585 (talk) 23:02, 8 December 2017 (UTC)

- @Bas1411: At the UEFA.com live scores page: [16]. Click on the calendar and go to 6 and 7 February 2018 (or depending on your local time, 7 and 8 February 2018). Chanheigeorge (talk) 02:12, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
Articles for Creation Reviewing
Hello, Chanheigeorge.
I recently sent you an invitation to join NPP, but you also might be the right candidate for another related project, AfC, which is also extremely backlogged. |
