Image Tagging for Image:1968BAL8x10.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:1968BAL8x10.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. An editor has nominated Ponyhawk, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ponyhawk and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Hello Chartran, a hearty and warm welcome to Wikipedia. The page you created on Rocky Marval doesn't cite the source. Well since you are new here let brief you about referencing.
See Wikipedia do not entertain original researches. Everything you write, needs to be citited. I mean it shouldn't be your own views. The content needs to be encyclopedic. Like you take any info. from any website or a book then you should also mention the name of the website or the book. Also you need to write the content in your own language. The content shouldn't be containing anything which might violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view.
If you wish to reply to the message then kindly click here. We are really glad to have you here on Wikipedia. Oh yes one more thing when ever you write an article which lacks source the page is then tagged. Until you don't mention the source kindly don't remove the tag. Thanks Sushant gupta 06:01, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
- Also have a quick look at this- How to mention the source? Thanks Sushant gupta 06:05, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
So you mean to say that he is your friend. Sushant gupta 11:57, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Super Bowl XLIII, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Ender The Xenocide | ( Talk | Contribs) 06:19, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
I'm curious as to why you moved Bill Nunn into the 6 SB rings category. If you have a source for this information, please share it and add a citation to the article. Also, I've got a related question on the Steelers WikiProject page — if you have any other information to share on this topic, please do so.--Deejayk (talk) 21:10, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Bill Nunn has been with the Steelers since 1967 - and is still on the scouting staff - so he has six rings as well. chartran
Unreferenced BLPs
editHello Chartran! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 7 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 5 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- John Kuhn - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Dan Reeder - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Rick Moser - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article Pumpy Tudors has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Didn't actually ever play for the team.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ϢereSpielChequers 12:02, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
The article LaMonte Coleman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Coleman was a member of the practice squad for the Steelers only and was not signed as full time player; he therefore does not meet the notability standards for inclusion as outlined at WP:NSPORTS.

The article Larry Douglas (American football) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:
- All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Tassedethe (talk) 16:41, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
BLP warning
editHello, I'm Only. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living person on Wayne Knight, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. only (talk) 16:48, 16 March 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 1
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited John Fuqua, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New York Stars (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
