Canvassing vs noticeboards

edit

Hello Cheung2. Instead of asking many individual people the same question, it's better to use a single wider audience noticeboard (WP:CANVAS, WP:NOTICEBOARD). —PaleoNeonate08:15, 8 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

A more explicit message than "Help copy edit for article [Akane Yamaguchi]" would be good too. The RedBurn (ϕ) 08:30, 8 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
@PaleoNeonate: It's not "canvassing" to ask for help editing an article, even in many places. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 08:37, 8 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Pigsonthewing: Since they don't appear to be specific editors, you're probably right. There would also be WP:FORUMSHOPPING, but then again these are not multiple forums; a noticeboard or copy-editing guild would still be better, though... —PaleoNeonate08:41, 8 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
