Speedy deletion nomination of Tennessee Bottle Bill

edit

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.  Btilm  22:49, 5 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please be careful to preview your edits before saving them, especially if you are editing using an external editor (such as MS word) or an outdated browser. In this edit you broke many of the interwiki links at the bottom of the page. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 18:13, 17 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Inverness, Illinois could benefit from the use of Template:Inflation. See example of usage at Fountain of Time.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 05:20, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of List of southernmost items

edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of southernmost items. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of southernmost items. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 15 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Steadicam

Not meaning to war with you there, I think we agree on what the section should be pared down to. I guess maybe we just don't know what the important examples are? Huw Powell (talk) 08:53, 10 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:Techcrunchconference2009 logo.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Techcrunchconference2009 logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:34, 23 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thomas Wrench listed at Redirects for discussion

edit

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Thomas Wrench. Since you had some involvement with the Thomas Wrench redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Tevildo (talk) 16:25, 6 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

With regards to Thomas Wrench...

edit

I've dropped you an email, but I wonder if you could help us explain why Thomas Wrench was set up to redirect to Godwin's law? There's a discussion at Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Miscellaneous#Who_is_Thomas_Wrench.3F. Thanks! --Dweller (talk) 19:24, 7 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure why Thomas Wrench was redirected to the other page, I don't remember creating that redirect. --Chevy1948 (talk) 01:16, 9 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
