List of Donald Trump 2020 presidential campaign endorsements
editHi there. I've undone your most recent edit to List of Donald Trump 2020 presidential campaign endorsements as it added content with this citation. Scribd is not an independent reliable source (it needs to be per standard #2 of WP:ENDORSE). Unfortunately, one can't determine the veracity of Scribd seeing as it's only a place where documents are uploaded (whether they're authentic or not is a different story). If the letter provided in the Scribd document is correct, then I'd imagine a reliable source has picked it up; if that's the case, said content can be returned but only with the reliable source. Kind regards, —MelbourneStar☆talk 12:25, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
Reliable Source?
editI believe that Breitbart had received the letters themselves and published it on Scribd. Are they not considered reliable?
Christhegeek517 (talk) 20:16, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
Hi Chris! how's it going! Sorry I had to undo your recent addition to Trump endorsement as the source didn't fit the guidelines as per WP:Endorsement Also breitbart is not considered a reliable source according to wikipedia blacklist. Best of luck with future edits! Alexandre8 (talk) 23:00, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

Nazi
editHi Chris, How's it going
It was originally added a slur as an attempt to tie Trump to Nazism. It's best left in the trash.Alexandre8 (talk) 18:35, 26 October 2020 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2022 United States Senate election in Pennsylvania, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bloomberg. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Your contributions at List of Donald Trump 2024 presidential campaign primary endorsements
editPlease review your use of named references. This article is a real mess of failed verifications right now, as you changed the content of a named reference, impacting every reference that calls to it. Please clean this up. Thanks. Wracking 💬 04:59, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
- I believe this is still an issue. Please clean it up, or I will remove portions that violate Wikipedia's policies on information about living people. Let me know if you think I've made an error. Thanks. Wracking 💬 02:38, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- I'm a little confused on what you mean. Could you please highlight which reference is messed up? Thank you. Christhegeek517 (talk) 02:41, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- It's reference 62 in the current edition of the article – Kashinsky, Lisa (April 28, 2023). "The Mass. MAGA faithful". Politico. Retrieved April 28, 2023.
- As far as I can tell, the source does not apply in the dozens(!!!) of times it's called. I believe the diff I included in my initial message may be the source of the mess. Thanks. Wracking 💬 02:49, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- OK, gotcha. That source provides a hyperlink under the "BACK ON THE TRUMP TRAIN" section, which should have all the people cited on there. Is that allowed or do referenced sources have to directly list the names on the page that is being cited? Thanks. Christhegeek517 (talk) 02:58, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. While secondary sources are preferred on Wikipedia, if the actual source of information was a primary-source email from the Trump campaign, that's what should be cited. Because the source (Politico article) does not explicitly name those people and the reference gives no indication that we should be checking that small section of the article, it's functionally unverifiable and leaves a dead end (which could get worse if links break in the future). I would probably cite the Trump email using Template:Cite press release. Again, let me know if you have issues, and thanks for being responsive. Wracking 💬 03:27, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- Also quickly adding: I found it as a post on the official Trump campaign website, which I think would be preferable to the email link provided in the Politico article. Thanks again. Wracking 💬 03:28, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- Gotcha. Changed the source. Thanks for letting me know. Christhegeek517 (talk) 03:42, 6 May 2023 (UTC)

Adding Ekpa back to International Politicians
editI'm writing to formally inform you that I am adding Simon Ekpa back to the list of International Politicians under Trump endorsement lists of 2024. It was first added there but it seemed it was removed by biased individuals. 1st Contributor (talk) 01:18, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Christhegeek517 it's very paramount that you look into the vandalism going on on Article " List of Donald Trump 2024 presidential campaign primary endorsements" Gråberbs Gråa Sång is continually disrupting the edit which you first made. Look at how he reverted edits on under International Politicians, removing Simon Ekpa and adding the person under Activists and public figures which is not appropriate. You are the primary contributor there and l believe you have an impact to make. Check the last 3 edit history and see what I mean. 1st Contributor (talk) 08:14, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
- You haven't addressed the concern raised one month ago here. Please, why? 1st Contributor (talk) 07:48, 4 August 2023 (UTC)

Trump page endorsements from Delegates
editHowdy.
as per WP:Endorse simply being listed as an RNC delegate does not hold up to section 3 as an endorsement. If the individuals stated something akin to "I am a Trump delegate for the RNC", that would be vastly different. Tipsyfishing (talk) 06:31, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi,
- I do believe that serving as a RNC delegate would be explicit enough. Bound RNC delegates are required to support the presidential candidate they are allocated to at the convention. Since every person I added comes from a state where Trump won every bound delegate, that means every person selected as a delegate will be supporting Trump at the RNC. Christhegeek517 (talk) 04:11, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
- Heya.
- While I fully understand that point of view, the endorse criteria (specially section 3) does not hold up when folks are merely listed as delegates.
- I would be in favor of having a wider discussion with the community whether or not to add an amendment/an additional section to the WP:Endorse to include listed delegates.
- Would that be of interest to you? Tipsyfishing (talk) 16:25, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
- Sure, that would be nice Christhegeek517 (talk) 17:27, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
