Man, that template's huge. Anyway, good edits so far. Keep it up, and have fun! Howicus (talk) 00:14, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

I am seeing an article on the AfD that looks like it meets the criteria for Speedy deletion. Can I mark it so or leave it on AfD? Meets G11.

Citrusbowler (talk) 00:27, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

Leave it on AfD. If it does meet a speedy deletion criteria, an admin can speedy delete the page and close the AfD early. Howicus (talk) 00:42, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
Leave it on AfD, but you can also mark it for speedy deletion. An admin will take care of both as appropriate. But if you don't mark it for speedy deletion, it is not likely that an admin will see it before the AfD closes. It's ok to have multiple deletion tags at once. What's the page? --Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 00:46, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

I have a page for speedy deletion but the author requested AfD. Should I put it on AfD or not? Citrusbowler (talk) 22:35, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

I believe you refer to Tecwyn Ifan? I'd give it a few days; it's a brand-new article. If it hasn't been improved in a week or so, I'd say speedy deletion is appropriate. Huon (talk) 23:07, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

Yes, I was involved with Tecwyn Ifan. No, I'm referring to Laughing Thunder. Citrusbowler (talk) 23:28, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Do you think it is okay to send a template in Spanish if it is apparent the user cannot speak in English but can in Spanish?

I don't think you mean "template", but if a user cannot speak English, I see nothing wrong with writing them in another language. The more basic question is whether users who cannot speak English can be of much benefit to the English Wikipedia. Huon (talk) 23:56, 3 June 2013 (UTC)

No es posible!

I ec'd with you with you twice with the same exact info you posted: First tagging Wikeando and second translating the CSD message into Spanish. Props to you, good sir, for taking the time to do that for him :) Ishdarian 00:25, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

What does "ec'd" mean? Citrusbowler (talk) 00:26, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

Hey Citrusbowler. Of course I accept you as my trainee :) Tell me when you want to start, so that I can prepare the course for you, and give you the tools to fight and defeat vandalism. Cheers! — ΛΧΣ21 02:04, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

I'd like to start with tools to defeat vandals. Citrusbowler (talk) 02:05, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion contested: El mercado de los angeles

Hello Citrusbowler, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of El mercado de los angeles, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not unambiguously promotional. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 04:57, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

I have unreviewed a page you curated

Hi, I'm I Jethrobot. I wanted to let you know that I saw the page you reviewed, Wrepay, and have un-reviewed it again. If you have any questions, please ask them on my talk page. Thank you. I, Jethrobot drop me a line (note: not a bot!) 00:18, 7 June 2013 (UTC)

Hey Citrusbowler. Your first assignment is to read Wikipedia:Vandalism in detail, and then find an example of at least 5 types of vandalism. After you do that, we'll move onto the second assignment and the first test. Cheers. — ΛΧΣ21 03:05, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sportskeeda

Hi Citrusbowler, I just wanted to let you know I've accepted this submission. It contained enough references to verify the content. It also included two fairly detailed reviews from prominent Indian newspapers, which creates a good argument for the subject being notable. If an AfC submission has a 50% chance of surviving an AfD nomination then it should be accepted. That's the standard the project normally works to. Best. Pol430 talk to me 12:23, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Thank You

Whichever admin removed the inappropriate picture from my talk page, thank you. I don't want to see that ever again. Thanks. Citrusbowler (talk) (contribs) (email me) 13:53, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Question

Hi Citrusbowler,

I saw your note regarding my file (graduate center logo) for upload... I am new to Wikipedia, so I'm not quite sure what I am missing from my request.

The copyright would be:

This is a logo of an organization, company, brand, etc. This is an official logo of an entity that is the subject of a Wikipedia article. It will be included as that entity's primary means of visual identification, at the top of the article in question.

Does that fill in the missing info?

Thank you for your help (and patience)! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Km230 (talkcontribs) 16:20, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

Km, the website says you need permission to use it. You have to either forward an e-mail CUNY had gave you stating that Wikipedia has permission to use the image to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, or you have to give us a valid claim of fair use. In addition, tomorrow you will be able to upload images on your own, making the hold moot. However, if you do not do what I asked you to do for me to upload the image within seven days of the upload, than the image will be speedily deleted. Also, don't forget to use four tildes to sign your name. Citrusbowler (talk) (contribs) (email me) 16:42, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
Citrusbowler, Thanks! I updated the info in the request (hopefully with all the necessary info). Km230 (talk) 17:05, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
