Infobox dates

edit

Hi, when updating infobox stats you should update the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats, by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 17:58, 2 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please keep this in mind. Mattythewhite (talk) 18:00, 2 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

You're right that there should be consistency, and that should surely be guided by the *actual* team name (Castilla)? Mattythewhite (talk) 23:10, 18 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I do agree that it should be "Castilla," but I believe the precedent that has been set is that it is "B." The same goes for Barcelona Atlètic; all their players are listed under "Barcelona B." Since most players are listed under "B" already, I think we should keep it that way since Real Madrid B is synonymous with Real Madrid Castilla. Cm27 (talk) 23:18, 18 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Real Madrid articles

edit

Hi, just a quick note to let you know that most of the articles you’ve created for Real Madrid Castilla players will more than likely be deleted by the community. It is not enough for them to have played for a notable institution; each player needs to have significant coverage, i.e. a number of articles in independent media (not fan-run websites) published specifically about them, to meet notability criteria. Just a heads up as I note you’ve created quite a few. Davidlofgren1996 (talk) 11:21, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

    • @Cm27: Hey, good job on starting the pages. But Wikipedia is changing a bit with regards to stubs, so if you could assist in fleshing out the articles with more references that would be great. To be kept, pages need multiple, secondary (not from Real Madrid), reliable references. You're helping the project, but doing this would be a big help to us all. Cheers!--Ortizesp (talk) 01:44, 3 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Mario de Luis moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Mario de Luis, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) WP:NFOOTY is no longer a valid SNG, so GNG must be met. It needs several refs from independent, reliable, secondary sources to pass WP:GNG. It should have at least 3 of those. Please remember that routine sports coverage does not satisfy GNG, and that interviews, being primary sources, do not go to notability either. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.   Hello, I'm GiantSnowman. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Yeboah Amankwah have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Soccerway confirms 14 league games, not 13 as you claimed... GiantSnowman 20:06, 24 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

When I made the edit, Soccerway indicated 13 appearances as it had not yet been updated from today's game. So, sorry, I guess? Cm27 (talk) 20:14, 24 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
