Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
Introduction to contentious topics
editYou have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Hi Codenamephoenix, please note that the "500 edits" restriction described in the blue box above applies to internal discussions such as deletion discussions and requested move discussions too. See WP:A/I/PIA and WP:ARBECR for details. Best regards, ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:59, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
If you continue soapboxing on that talk page Ill be asking that you be restricted from it. Your personal opinions are not a topic anybody else cares about, please stop discussing the topic at large and focus on discussing our article with sources. nableezy - 18:37, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
- why are you threatining me? most of my talk page comments are sourcedand i provide multiple sources not just one source supporting my pov Codenamephoenix (talk) 18:42, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
- No, they are not, they are filled with personal opinions and I am unwilling to continue going through them while discussing things that are relevant to the page with others who are constructively contribute. You can either follow WP:NOTFORUM or not, but if not Ill ask that it be enforced by administrators. nableezy - 18:53, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
- i understand your frustration but plese stop with your threats.even if i have personal opinions supporting a pov so does others throughout the article bashing israel. it dosent give you any right to personaly post your frustrations on my talk page. editIf you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing blocks (specifically this section) before appealing. Place the following on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Please copy my appeal to the [[WP:AE|arbitration enforcement noticeboard]] or [[WP:AN|administrators' noticeboard]]. Your reason here OR place the reason below this template. ~~~~}}
. If you intend to appeal on the arbitration enforcement noticeboard, I suggest you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template on your talk page so it can be copied over easily. You may also appeal directly to me (by email), before or instead of appealing on your talk page.
Reminder to administrators: In May 2014, ArbCom adopted the following procedure instructing administrators regarding Arbitration Enforcement blocks: "No administrator may modify a sanction placed by another administrator without: (1) the explicit prior affirmative consent of the enforcing administrator; or (2) prior affirmative agreement for the modification at (a) AE or (b) AN or (c) ARCA (see "Important notes" [in the procedure]). Administrators modifying sanctions out of process may at the discretion of the committee be desysopped."
- Well that saved me from pressing save page at AE, though a week is a bit light IMO for an indef-block deserving editor. nableezy - 16:30, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
- Feel free to bring it to AE. I didn't fully review their contributions. Just stopping the disruption while I'm on my lunch break. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 16:37, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
- lol.1.) i didnt directly accused any editor. it was a general comment.

- Well, if you insist. Blocked indefinitely. This remains an arbitration block, with ScottishFinnishRadish as blocking admin of record, until 16:29, 26 October 2023. After that it can be appealed as a standard block with me as blocking admin, using the {{unblock}} template. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 15:22, 20 October 2023 (UTC)

- Normally I wouldn't respond to trolling like this, but there may be a learning experience here: I am Jewish. I literally have my Jewishness tattooed on my arm by choice. And I point that out not because it's relevant to blocking you, but because I hope it will make you reconsider the black-and-white mentality you've expressed here. One needn't be a Muslim to think that what you've said is problematic—not that a Muslim's opinion would be any less valid than mine.
