League tables in season articles
editPlease can you discuss this ([1]) change on the project talk page Talk:2013–14 Football League One#Use of template tables on 2013–14 Football League One and 2013–14 Football League Two. => Spudgfsh (Text Me!) 19:00, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
- Colin, if you do not cease your reversions on the Football League season articles, you may be blocked for disruptive editing. There is a consensus to support the change to the template format, as it makes it easier to make changes across the entire encyclopaedia. – PeeJay 00:53, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
Just trying to help. Don't know how to use new template– User:Colindavies142User talk:Colindavies142 14:46, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
- As has been explained, what you are doing is not helping. If you want to help, learn how to use the template and contribute that way. – PeeJay 22:08, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
- The template is visible and can be edited at Template:2013–14 Football League Two table. The documentation is also listed at the page but can be read at Template:2013–14 Football League Two table/doc. Please read that and then feel free to edit the template. It is not that hard you just change the team rown when teams change position just as in the old table. The big difference is that you also need to change the team positions in subtemplate Template:2013–14 Football League Two table/p. I dont want to complicate things for you but Template:2013–14 Premier League table works in the exact same way and that doc might be easier to understand. I am looking to improve them and add a link on league-two template to press if the team articles are not directly updated (due to old cache but thats a bit complicated and you dont need to know that). If you have any question feel free to ask me on my talkpage (or respond here) and I will help you as much as I can, as fast as I can. QED237 (talk) 03:07, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
I am glad you updated Template:2013–14 Football League Two table but how about changing positions? Doing half a update is conssidered disruptive and may be reverted. QED237 (talk) 22:44, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
Colindavies142, you are invited to the Teahouse
editHi Colindavies142! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Please discuss such moves--and certainly don't change BLPs and move them around without reliable sources. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 01:21, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
- Same with Amy Anderson (golfer). Drmies (talk) 01:22, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
Why is it a big deal? I'm just updating their pages to reflect new marriages and new names to help people find their pages using their new last names. I provide references to the changes below for proof
http://www.lpga.com/players/amy-olson/98084/overview
http://www.lpga.com/players/ashleigh-buhai/82896/overview
thanks
- That's not the point. First you should update the articles, with reliable secondary sources, and only then should you consider moving the article--and the Olson article doesn't even verify that she got married or changed her name. Drmies (talk) 01:29, 27 June 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 31
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2017–18 EFL League One, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Craig Davies (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
