A beer for you!
[edit]| Here is a beer to bribe you with. My article Chateraise has been rejected many times and awaits approval in around 3 months. I had created a completely different article (Lucky Supermarket) and that was accepted and cleaned up by other users even if it barely had any information. Can you see what you can do about my Chateraise article submission? Thanks :) KirbySoda (talk) 19:29, 27 May 2026 (UTC) |
- @KirbySoda -Sure, I can check it out! NO promises I'll accept it, but I'll definitely look at it soon. Commandant Quacks-a-lot (talk) 12:57, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you! I just want to know if I'm still missing something in the article in case it gets rejected. Thanks for replying to me though KirbySoda (talk) 13:55, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
- @KirbySoda - Okay, so the main issue appears to be that sources 4, 6, and 8 aren't independent. Since they're written by the company themselves, they can't be used to show notability (of course they'll write about themselves), nor can they be used for verification of facts (while it's unlikely they'd lie, you never know). So, try to replace those with independent sources, like the other sources you've got.
- Also, source number 3 leads to a 404 error. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like The Wayback Machine has archived it, either,[1] so you'll have to replace that with a different source. Looks like you're real close to getting it approved, though. Cheers! - Commandant Quacks-a-lot (talk) 19:52, 31 May 2026 (UTC)
- Sure, thanks for getting back to me. I'll try to sort it out and find some independent sources to replace the ones from the company. Another user also mentioned that one of the links led to a 404 error (I must've forgotten to remove it), so I'll try and get that replaced too. I'm really glad that you helped me out though and I'm excited to have the page submitted soon once its cleared up, cheers to you too!

- Sorry to bother you again, but am I allowed to use the same source more than once? Lets say a news article has information which I can refer to multiple times in article. KirbySoda (talk) 07:51, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- Yep, that's absolutely okay! Just be sure to use named references. Commandant Quacks-a-lot (talk) 13:17, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- Sure, thank you! KirbySoda (talk) 17:08, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- Ofc! Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions! Commandant Quacks-a-lot (talk) 18:00, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- One final question, you told me that I shouldn't cite the company's own sources in the page, but I was wondering if I can cite them in certain bits of info that can probably be confirmed as true such as reported profits or store locations, as its unlikely that any independent sources would accurately have that information. Thanks again :) KirbySoda (talk) 10:34, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- I guess you probably could. However, it would not show any notability, so you'd have to make sure to add some more sources elsewhere in order to do that. Commandant Quacks-a-lot (talk) 12:53, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- All right, I suppose its worth a go. KirbySoda (talk) 13:00, 2 June 2026 (UTC)

[edit]You can accept Draft:V32 (numbers station) now. I noticed you tagged the redirect for G6 deletion but didn't make any edits to the draft itself (ex. to mark it as review in progress). -- Reconrabbit (talk) 17:12, 2 June 2026 (UTC)

[edit]You say you work on an ASUS laptop. I’ll have mercy on you for that. Once, when I was using one, it took 10 minutes for the log in screen to load. Their catchphrase is right. They haven’t yet found incredible. In solidarity Wikipedian12512 (Talking is fine | contribs) 20:34, 7 June 2026 (UTC)

[edit]Can you help me get my bio page approved to be published please? Wikigenius2026 (talk) 22:40, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Wikigenius2026 - Currently, the main issue is your references. At the moment, You've got a lot of external links scattered throughout the article. As per WP:EXTERNALLINK, that's not typically allowed. Instead, to back up your information, you should use inline citations, like this:[1]. For how to do that, see Help:Referencing for beginners. Once you;ve fixed that, re-submit the draft to AfC, and another reviewer can give it a look. If I didn't explain that clearly, or if you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to me or The Teahouse. Cheers! -Commandant Quacks-a-lot (talk) 22:48, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you!! I'll give that a try now. Wikigenius2026 (talk) 12:44, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
- You're welcome, I'm glad I could be of some help. Commandant Quacks-a-lot (talk) 12:57, 19 June 2026 (UTC)

Chateraise draft is complete! (or I think it is)
[edit]Hi again! I spent some time clearing up the draft and tried my best to add more references to the article. If you have the time, I was wondering if you could have a look through it again so it could be published. Of course if there are still any mistakes I'll be willing to fix them.
I would offer another beer for you in return, but with the new UI I can't seem to find the feature that adds those drink pictures anymore. I suppose just a thank you will do? So thanks again :) KirbySoda (talk) 09:06, 25 June 2026 (UTC)

Articles for Creation backlog drive
[edit]
Hello Commandant Quacks-a-lot:
WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 5000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 19 July 2026 (UTC)
- If you wish to opt-out of future mailings, please remove yourself from the mailing list or alternatively to opt-out of all massmessage mailings, you may add Category:Wikipedians who opt out of message delivery to your user talk page.
Category:Cities named after apples has been nominated for deletion

AfC August Backlog Drive: Only ten days left!
[edit]
Hi Commandant Quacks-a-lot, thanks for participating in the Articles for Creation August Backlog Drive! We've done amazing work so far, dropping the backlog by more than 3000 drafts already. We have around 1300 drafts outstanding, and we need your help to get that down to zero in the next 10 days. We can do this, but we need all hands on deck to help make it happen – if everyone who signed up to the drive reviewed just 1–2 drafts a day for the next ten days, we'd be down to zero in no time! A list of the pending drafts can be found at WP:AFCSORT, where you can select submissions in your area of interest, or you can find a random submission here. Thank you so much for your work so far, and happy reviewing! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:20, 21 August 2026 (UTC)
