Check my work?
I attempted to add a new criteria for Template:CSD summary, the LLMs. I believe I've written the code correctly and the category certainly gets populated, but for some reason the # of current members doesn't ever include a quantity. Hello, I would like to request the undeletion of this page. The page was recently deleted on the ground of notability. There is a full-length monograph on the subject published by Sahitya Akademi, India's National Academy of Letters, which is enough to establish notability. - @ScalarFactor: I don't believe this falls within the purview of RD2: although it violates WP:BLPCRIME, some reliable sources do exist, and they are not grossly misrepresented in a manner that is insulting or degrading. - All general sanctions imposed by the community may now be enforced at the Arbitration Enforcement noticeboard (WP:AE) as a result of a recent RfC.
- Due to the result of a recent RFC, the administrator recall process is amended to extend the deadline for a re-request for adminship to 30 days or the next administrator election, whichever is later.
- Changes to the Access to Temporary Account IP Addresses Policy's disclosure rules include broadening the consecutive-blocks exception to cover all admin actions and removing the requirement to revision-delete permissible disclosures once they become unnecessary (instead requiring only their removal). See WP:TAIVDISCLOSE for more information.

- Following the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections, the following editors have been elected to the Arbitration Committee: Aoidh, Asilvering, Girth Summit, Guerillero, HJ Mitchell, HouseBlaster, Izno, Sdrqaz, SilverLocust.

Deletion of Blooket Wikis
Hello, I am writing to kindly request a reconsideration of the deleted Blooket Wiki article. The article included reliable sources for citation. Several references came from well-established and trusted wiki platforms, including major Fandom wikis that are commonly used as secondary sources for online game documentation. Because of the use of recognized wiki references and proper sourcing, I believe the article meets basic citation standards. - @Hosterr: The deletion discussion resulted in a unanimous consensus for deletion. Sources such as Fandom are user-generated and not considered among reliable sources for demonstrating notability. Reliable sources must be published by organizations with a reputation for fact-checking and must not be affiliated with the subject; moreover, no number of unreliable sources can compensate for the absence of reliable ones. As such, I will not undelete the article, and I must advise you that a recreated version will very likely be deleted on the same grounds. Let me know if you have any other questions. Hi, I am writing to you because you warned me for editing the Vanadium page without a neutral point of view.
I know that the NPOV is very important to the knowledge, but my edit consisted of adding information about the name of the element, specifically erythronium, which was its original name.
I have more prestigious sources for that name. I will add the information again with these additional sources.
I believe that Wikipedia has to be fair to history and to the person who deserves the credit.
EDIT: and you justified your change with "nobody uses that name today". That is totally irrelevant, you can find that name in english sources and I will probe it.

- @DG197: The original name erythronium is not used in contemporary scientific literature or textbooks. Wikipedia articles reflect IUPAC recommendations for element names and must not give undue weight to historic or alternate names. Mentioning them in the opening sentence would give readers the wrong impression that they are still in widespread international use today; the opening sentence should be a very succinct definition or contextualization of the article subject. In the same vein, we do not call element 71 cassiopeium or element 105 hahnium; those are only mentioned in the body of the article, or at most later in the opening section. For vanadium, the name erythronium is already mentioned in the history section; feel free to add details or additional sources there, but it does not belong at the very beginning of the article.

January–February 2026 NPP drive - Phase 2
Welcome to Phase 2 of the January–February 2026 NPP drive. During Phase 1, we reviewed 16,658 articles and 4,416 redirects, and there is currently a backlog of 16,475 articles and 23,782 redirects in the queue. Fantastic job! Completing 22,502 patrols in the first phase made a significant dent in the backlog. Let's keep our foot on the gas for Phase 2, and I hope we can achieve even more reviews than Phase 1. Production rates are expected to drop from atoms per week for Og down to atoms per year for elements 119 and 120 at modern-day facilities, or atoms per decade for even heavier elements.

Plaksha University: Request to create a new page
Hi ComplexRational,
I work with the Plaksha team and found our page was deleted due to not meeting Wikipedia guidelines.

We have created a new draft which is more neutral and verifiable. Given the circumstances, we would like to get it reviewed before attempting to publish. I apologise if this is not the right forum or approach, but your guidance on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
Our reasons for a Plaksha University page:
- Both are chancellor and vice-chancellor have pages on wikipedia, along with many of our full-time professors
- Many/most of our founders have pages on Wikipedia.
- We have verifiable tie-ups with reputed international institutes.
- We have raised nearly $300 million dollars in funding, making us a premier private insititute in India.
Given how many notable personalities are deeply involved with Plaksha, we believe it passes the check for notability. I have a full list of sources and references for the same.
Do let me know how we can go about this, and if should share the draft with you. I am unfamiliar with the process as this is my first time on the editor side of Wikipedia.

- Changes to user permissions made from Meta are now included in the local user permissions log (T6055).
- The autoconfirmed user group will soon be modified such that the four-day account age requirement begins when an account makes its first edit (T418484).
Arbitration
- The arbitration case SchroCat has been opened. Evidence submissions in this case closed on 15 April.
- Per a recent motion, appeals of blocks from the conflict-of-interest VRT queue are, by default, appealed on-wiki through the normal unblock process. However, they may be heard by the Committee if COIVRTers disagree on the interpretation of the evidence or believe ArbCom would be better suited to hear the appeal. Administrators are also advised that loosening or lifting such blocks without the consent of someone with access to the queue or ArbCom can be grounds for desysopping.
- Per a recent motion, restrictions issued directly by the Committee may now be enforced with blocks which work exactly like contentious topic blocks.
- The arbitration case Maghreb has been closed.
Miscellaneous
- The May 2026 administrator elections are scheduled to run from April 29 to May 19. The call for candidates ends May 5.
- The 2026 Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C) election is scheduled to run from April 25 to June 1. Candidacy submissions close on May 10.
- A new noticeboard for non-urgent, batch page protection requests has been created, primarily for the enforcement of contentious topic restrictions.

After the January–February drive the article backlog was reduced to 15,179 articles and the redirect backlog to 19,053 respectively. Great job! However, both queues are growing rapidly and any additional reviews are highly appreciated.
2024 and 2025 NPP Awards
Hey man im josh and MPGuy2824 won the Redirect Ninja Master Award for 2024 and 2025 respectively, for reviewing the most redirects.
Overall in 2024, one Platinum, two Gold, eight Silver, 12 Bronze and 45 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 66 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year. In 2025, one Platinum, ten Silver, 13 Bronze and 38 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 38 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year.
BoyTheKingCanDance, Rosiestep, SunDawn, and Vanderwaalforces were inducted into the NPP Hall of Fame for having two separate years of 2,000+ article reviews.
January–February backlog drive

- @YaelBF: The article was deleted because consensus was reached that the school is not notable and concerns about LLM usage. For an organization to have a Wikipedia article, it must be the subject of significant coverage in sources that are independently published and reliable (e.g., major newspapers are suitable sources; the organization's own webpage and PR pieces are not): this is what determines notability, not the state of the article. I will not restore the deleted content because it would most likely be speedy deleted or declined at Articles for Creation, though you are free to begin working on a new draft if there are newly-available sources that might demonstrate notability. Articles for Creation backlog drive

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.

Question about deleted article
Hi, I noticed that the Pakistan national under-23 football team results article was deleted following the deletion discussion. I was wondering if you could explain a bit more about why it was deleted, as I noticed that several other national under-23 team results articles are still intact.
Also, if the conclusion is that this topic isn't considered notable enough for a standalone article, would it be possible to obtain the wikitext/source code (or the content) of the last revision before it was deleted? I contributed a significant amount to the article and would like to keep the data for future reference or possible use elsewhere.

- @JayFT047: The discussion resulted in a consensus for deletion because of concerns that the list is not notable – that is, no independent, reliable sources have been published specifically discussing the set of Pakistan U23 results as a whole. There is no doubt that the team is notable, but if there are not enough sources to substantiate an extensive standalone list, it is more appropriate to instead incorporate an abridged list – or prose summary of significant results – in the main article.
- Additionally, each team's article has been AfD separately. They must be evaluated for notability and compliance with Wikipedia's other core content policies on their own merits (or faults); the fate of one article does not have any direct implications for others.
- I will email you a copy of the wikitext for the data tables. Keep in mind, though, that a newly created article would almost certainly be deleted unless new sources come to light, and any conclusions drawn from this data and published elsewhere must be directly cited (i.e., cannot be the result of your original analysis).
