Please take this opportunity to ensure that you understand our copyright policy and our policies regarding how to use non-free content.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  331dot (talk) 07:59, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

When creating the page about Joseph Anthony Peterburs, I was mainly guided by his two books, namely :* Peterburs, Joseph A.: From Saint Paul, Minnesota to Roseville, California and all the places in-between. Roseville/Ca 2013, self-published. :* Peterburs, Joseph A.: WW II Memories of a Mustang Pilot. Roseville/Ca 2007, self-published :so you can't talk about "copying" the page "https://joepeterburs.com/". I have been in contact with Mr. Peterburs for years and thought that he "deserved" the "honor" of a Wikipedia page on the occasion of his achievements and his 100th birthday next month. Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please place new posts at the bottom, so they stay in order. This may be easier to do if you click "edit" and not "reply". 331dot (talk) 12:21, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

A Wikipedia article is not a way to honor someone(in fact there are good reasons to not have one). 331dot (talk) 12:22, 2 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I'm sorry if I've violated Wikipedia's guidelines. Is my account blocked for life? I would be grateful if I could create and edit pages again - thank you for checking! Cornu1907 (talk) 15:44, 16 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Your block will last until you show that you understand why you were blocked and show that the block is no longer necessary. It's indefinite, not infinite. Cabayi (talk) 16:12, 16 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

I see, but how can I show that I understood if I'm not able to create or edit a page? Cornu1907 (talk) 07:46, 17 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

You can show that you understand by telling us what you did wrong, what you will do differently, and what edits you will make if unblocked. See the unblock appeals guide to learn how to craft an unblock request more likely to be accepted. 331dot (talk) 08:12, 17 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
