editHello, I'm GiantSnowman. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Sam Hutchinson have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. GiantSnowman 18:27, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- reverting edits is not constructive. CrazyFootballFan (talk) 19:56, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Sam Hutchinson. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. GiantSnowman 20:07, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- man can you go away its just your opinion that what im doing isn't constructive. im adding on to sentences if you looked. CrazyFootballFan (talk) 20:10, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Sam Hutchinson, you may be blocked from editing.
- Your edits are removing sourced content, removing references, adding unsourced content, adding disambiguation links, and adding inappropriate piping, amongst general other MOS violations. GiantSnowman 20:17, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- How have I vandalized Sam Hutchinson??? I just rewrote a paragraph about Reading FC adding more detail which YOU just reverted without checking. I am adding more detail and improving sentences. All I deleted was defensive midfield position, because he does not play there anymore. Stop reverting my stuff, you are the one vandalizing CrazyFootballFan (talk) 20:20, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- I have clearly explained to you why your edit are not constructive. If you do not understand, then you are not competent to edit. GiantSnowman 20:22, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- I just rewrote a paragraph you haven't even seen adding more detail about reading FC. Tell me how this is not constructive if you actually bothered to see my changes and the new paragraph. CrazyFootballFan (talk) 20:24, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- And I have explained to you how reverting a paragraph I just improved and added lots more info to is not constructive CrazyFootballFan (talk) 20:44, 20 December 2022 (UTC)

- Need to clear up half of this stuff I did not do. I removed a position in which he does not play in anymore, and improved a paragraph, just for you to revert it all, and call it "vandalism". CrazyFootballFan (talk) 17:43, 21 December 2022 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at User:GiantSnowman. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. Chris Troutman (talk) 20:50, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- Tell this GiantSnowman geezer to stop vandalizing my work by reverting every change I make then. CrazyFootballFan (talk) 11:26, 21 December 2022 (UTC)

Block explanation
editApologies for the delayed explanation, as I got called away unexpectedly while writing up this comment. In any case, responding to a warning about not making personal attacks against other editors, with another personal attack is, shall we say, not a good idea. Civility is a core pillar of Wikipedia, and you need to find a way to work within it. If you continue in this vein, you will quickly find yourself blocked indefinitely. Sir Sputnik (talk) 15:12, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- You are all so sensitive. If you get upset over a petty comment, you should not be an admin. All I said was "tell him to stop vandalising my work", when he is accusing me of vandalising work as well. Where is his punishment for this? You are biased towards admins. Unfair on regular users. If I am punished for saying "stop vandalizing my work", where is his punishment for accusing me of vandalism/reverting every edit I was making stating it was vandalism? CrazyFootballFan (talk) 17:42, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- And if YOU get so upset over having Wikipedia's civility rules being explained to you, after a block for vandalizing other editors' talk pages, then you should not be on Wikipedia. I've looked over those edits to which GiantSnowman objected, and like Nehme1499, I agree that they're unnecessary, in places go against our Manual of Style, and introduce unsourced material and errors. Like football, Wikipedia has rules. EVERYONE's contributions are liable to be edited or reverted, and you agreed that you understood that as a precondition to registering for this site and as part of every edit you make. (Just scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll see.) No, GiantSnowman is not reverting "every edit you make," and no, he's done nothing wrong. This was just your first booking, and it's up to you whether you want to keep on being carded until you get red carded. Ravenswing 01:41, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
- I did not vandalise other editor's talk pages. Can you show me the proof that I did this, because I did not? This is a false accusation.
- I also love how you ignore my point about not listening to regular users and being biased to admins. I want an explanation on how saying "tell him to stop vandalising my edits" is a personal attack when calling every edit I make "vandalism" isn't? It's the same thing, but he gets away with it. A punishment goes one way for a regular user and an admin can get away with it. I said he is vandalising and he said I was vandalising, if what I said is a "personal attack (which it's not), then what he said is as well, so he should be punished like me. CrazyFootballFan (talk) 13:43, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
- You did vandalise another users talk page (Special:Diff/1128568504). Your inability to work with others and call other people "sensitive" makes me feel that you aren't going to be competent enough to edit Wikipedia. So far a lot of your edits have been reverted as they aren't improvements for various reasons (mostly as they fail various parts of our Manual of Style). ThGs ok, no one is expected to know everything - but as a new user you are expected to be civil with other users and not just re-add the same revisions over and over. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 12:23, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
- I changed one word on an admin's user page, not talk page,(I have not edited anyones talk page except my own), which I already aknowledged I shouldn't have done. What ravenswing said, was that I had vandalized other editors talk pages, implying that I had completely destroyed multiple editors talk pages, which I did not do. If he said the admins user page, then I wouldn't have been confused as to why I was being accused of this.
- I called the admins sensitive because I said "tell this guy to stop vandalizing my work" and I was blocked for "personal attack". The point I was trying to make was he said I was vandalizing pages and I said he was vandalizing what I was doing as well. What annoyed me was me saying he is vandalizing is a "personal attack" when him saying I am vandalizing is not a personal attack, and because he is an admin he can get away with it. I don't care about the block, I want an explanation as to why what I said is a personal attack (its not), when what he said isn't. I also want to know why you guys keep dodging answering this point, as no one has said anything even after I've bought it up a few times, is it because I've pointed out something that is true and you don't want to admit?CrazyFootballFan (talk) 17:07, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
