Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Third party and independent candidates for the 2024 United States presidential election, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Forward Party. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Presidential Debate Table

edit

I just wanted to thank you for your edits to keep the table even though they removed it again. I too believe the table is important. These people will do anything to keep Kennedy out of the picture. Lostfan333 (talk) 19:41, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

The table could be useful if the information in it was accurate. RFK Jr is not on that many ballots as of now. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:00, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
stop deleting sourced info Crazysportsdude1 (talk) 23:05, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
The RFK campaign is not a reliable source for information about the RFK campaign. The AP is.
State officials have confirmed Kennedy’s place on the ballot in Delaware, Oklahoma and Utah, which have just 16 electoral votes between them. In California, Hawaii and Michigan, minor parties have selected Kennedy as their nominee, in effect offering up existing ballot lines, though the states have not formally affirmed Kennedy’s position. Adding them would bring Kennedy’s total to 89 electoral votes, though it’s not clear that his position in those states would meet CNN’s criteria. Kennedy’s campaign says he has collected enough signatures in Idaho, Iowa, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio and Texas, states with 112 electoral votes in total. But he has either not submitted the signatures or they have not yet been affirmed by state election officials.
Stop introducing factual errors. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:07, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
So you are only arguing about Texas? That's the only difference? Crazysportsdude1 (talk) 23:12, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
By that logic Trump and Biden both have 0 votes, they have not been certified anywhere. Crazysportsdude1 (talk) 23:13, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
At most it's 89 right now, like the AP says. You really should self-revert. I'm disengaging from this edit warring. And my edits are not WP:VANDALISM and perhaps you need to read up on why it isn't. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:18, 26 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

edit

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2024 United States presidential debates. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

Finally, please assume good faith in your interactions with other users. Incorrectly accusing people of vandalism which has a very clear definition here on Wikipedia is not appropriate. Please be civil and follow dispute resolution procedures, rather than attacking editors or edit-warring with them. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 02:58, 27 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
