editSpeedy deletion nomination of Astara, Inc.
editYou may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
A tag has been placed on Astara, Inc., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Yworo (talk) 17:27, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

Suicide of Katelyn Nicole Davis
editI deleted this article per WP:G4 as it was essentially a recreation of Suicide of Katelyn Davis, which was deleted per this this discussion. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 12:31, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- WP:G4 doesn't apply here, because Suicide of Katelyn Nicole Davis is not a "sufficiently identical copy" of Suicide of Katelyn Davis. More specifically, the issues of sourcing and notability that contributed to the old article to be deleted, aren't present in the new article. Remember, when applying WP:G4 "It excludes pages that are not substantially identical to the deleted version, pages to which the reason for the deletion no longer applies". As seen in the new article's logs, it only came into being after a formal Wikipedia:WikiProject_Articles_for_creation process and approval. Please undelete this article. Thanks, Cruiser1 (talk) 18:36, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for reciting the criteria for G4, but I have to disagree that it's essentially a copy of the old article, with the same sources. Where was it reviewed and approved? I only see this. Am I missing something? Jauerbackdude?/dude. 18:47, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- I think I see what you're talking about, but I also think it was deceptive to create the article under a different name with no mention of the previous article's deletion discussion. Regardless, it hasn't changed enough IMO. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 18:53, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- Suicide of Katelyn Nicole Davis has many different sources and much different content than the old Suicide of Katelyn Davis article. For example, the old article was criticized for starting out with a casual DailyMail reference (and had a bunch of YouTube references), while the new article starts with the WP:RS Independent (and has no YouTube references). The new article also has a new section about effects and aftermath that wasn't present in the old, which further establishes notability and further demonstrates this is an entirely new article and should be treated as such. The new article was approved inside the article itself as part of the AfC process. Remember, when a new Draft: space article is submitted to the AfC boards, admins either decline/reject or accept the article in comments above and within the article itself. When an admin approves it, they remove those comments before moving it to article space. When you speedy deleted this article, you made those logs and comments inaccessible to most. Thanks, Cruiser1 (talk) 19:14, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- Note that I didn't create the new Draft:Suicide of Katelyn Nicole Davis article (and I don't know who did) although I did participate in improving it once I noticed it was present. The old article was basically given WP:TNT and we started over. No deception is present or implied. Thanks, Cruiser1 (talk) 19:17, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- I suggest you take this to WP:DRV and make your arugment there. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 19:18, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for the suggestion. Following DRV guidelines requires making a templated comment on your talk page, which is why there's another section about this page there. Thanks, Cruiser1 (talk) 20:57, 8 January 2019 (UTC)

Online Bullying of Tammy Michelle Rogers
editHello Walter. I find that your argument that there is a conviction linked to the case, erroneous. ~ Her ~ case was closed without any conviction. lukey pukey was hardly investigated. I am pressing for deletion. Then I will tell the truth. It will include detailed references to the key figures who have attempted, by online social media bullying, to push ~ Her ~ Mother to also commit suicide. For the time... this battle remains online. HER KNIGHT (talk) 14:09, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
You stated that the new page, which I assume you put up, does not have any links to youtube.. Well, it did link to one of the hate channels. But its gone now. And links to that mazemakers diatribe will also be removed, if this article is not deleted. I learn quickly walter. My family are Maori. Many live in Auckland. We still are a Warrior Race. A keyboard or a Ka Mate and a Patu is all the same to me. Its just a question of situation.HER KNIGHT (talk) 14:21, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
- I didn't create the new Suicide of Katelyn Nicole Davis article, although I have attempted to improve it once I saw that it existed. You're thinking of Nterix, who has even said in the deletion discussion that he's the article's creator. I have voted to keep this article, and I see that you voted to delete it, and that is your right. It's also your right to edit the article, if you believe you can improve it too. Wikipedia is a group effort, and this article isn't "mine" or anybody else's. For what it's worth, there are currently more "delete" votes than "keep" votes, so this article is likely to be deleted soon in alignment with your wishes. Thanks, Cruiser1 (talk) 20:13, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
Advertising a death metal band ? Morally reprehensible
editJust found your latest ploy to spread untruth in any way possible. That was really not a nice thing to do.HER KNIGHT (talk) 15:20, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
- I wasn't "advertising" the death metal band's usage of Katelyn's last words. What I did was mention their usage as an example of how Katelyn's case has influenced society and culture. Whether or not we like their usage, the unfortunate truth is that her words have been used in this manner. Thanks, Cruiser1 (talk) 20:13, 27 January 2019 (UTC)

editThis is your only warning; if you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory content into an article or any other Wikipedia page again, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Suicide of Katelyn Nicole Davis, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Acroterion (talk) 00:48, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
- I've redacted several things that should never have been posted in that discussion. Don't do that again. Acroterion (talk) 00:52, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
