editHello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Upper Crust Pizzeria, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 10:15, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
The paragraph starting with "The company’s first pizzeria" was not referenced. You included a reference, but it is not verifiable. See wp:V, wp:cite, and wp:reliable sources. See help:footnotes and help:referencing for beginners Please keep talk on this page? Mine gets filled with stuff. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 10:28, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
Hey Jim, In the 4th paragraph of my first source states "The pizza chain was founded in 2001, also in the Boston area. The original Beacon Hill location is still among its eight restaurants, but the chain had 16 throughout New England and Washington, D.C. at one point, before it declared bankruptcy in 2012."
Did the link not work when you clicked it? Or is the Eatery website not reliable? Your help here is appreciated.

Unreferenced
editThis is the section that is unreferenced:
- The company’s first pizzeria opened in Boston’s historic Beacon Hill neighborhood on Charles Street in 2001. The restaurant grew to fourteen locations and developed a loyal following before declaring bankruptcy in 2012[1]. The company was purchased in 2013 by Quabbin Capital and is now headed by CEO RJ Dourney (Applebee’s, Au Bon Pain Bakery Cafés, Così) who brought his restaurant leadership to the Upper Crust team in 2017. Today, Upper Crust is focused on making pizza with fresh gourmet ingredients and contributing to each pizzeria’s community.
- Quabbin Capital is a Boston based private equity firm investing in US manufacturing and consumer goods companies.

The reference is not something that I can locate. Who says that Jacqueline Cain, Upper Crust Is Planning a Stone Hearth Takeover in Cambridge, Eatery Boston, August 4, 2015?
How do I find out that the Quabbin Capital sentence is true? All significant content needs to be wp:V
If it's on Upper Crust's website, add a link to it, please. See help:footnotes or try wp:RefToolbar/2.0 it's at the top of the edit window. Click "Cite" then "Template", choose {{Cite web}}
Try to avoid wp:primary sources as they are often self-serving. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 11:45, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
@Jim1138: Jim, I better understand what you are looking for now. Here are additional sources for the Quabbin Capital ownership rthat I can add to the update. Two are secondary sources and the third, while from Upper Crust, gives a bigger overview of the current management.

Were there other elements that raised questions for you?
Again your insight here is most welcomed.

- There are quite a few issues with your edit here.
- Remember, content must not be promotional nor promotional sounding. i.e. sounding like an advert. WP:NOTPROMOTION
- Content should be written with an encyclopedic wp:tone. i.e. rather 'dry' tone.
- This sentence: Upper Crust Pizza developed a dedicated following in Boston soon after opening its doors. is wp:puffery and should not be added.
- loyal following, dedicated following is likely puffery. It might be OK if it the source is under editorial review.
- Be careful of removing sourced content as in the Controversy section. But, to be clear, this needs to be balanced per wp:DUE.
- You might want to peruse some other articles List of pizza chains of the United States. Not sure how these conform to policy.
- I am not the best at this by far. I would suggest asking for advise at the wp:teahouse or wp:help desk.
