Welcome

edit

Hello, DSJ2, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Newcomers help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

I left a reply for you on the Derek Jeter talk page. Maybe we could agree on some alternate wording or seek input from other editors to sort this one out. Cheers. No Guru 05:05, 12 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Articles for Deletion

edit

Hi DSJ2. Whilst neither a delete nor a keep decision at AfD is permanent, it is considered bad form to repeatedly propose an article for deletion, as you have done at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2006 custodial workers' strike and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2006 custodial workers' strike (2nd nomination). Done too often, it looks like a violation of WP:POINT - don't disrupt Wikipedia to make a point - and that can lead to sanctions, including being blocked from editing at all. Thanks. edit

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:344132611Ucdjbz ph.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.
