Thelma Parkinson moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Thelma Parkinson. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 01:30, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hello,
- I am so sorry that I did not include the citations when I tried to publish the article. I only realized about an hour after posting, and I have now filled in the placeholders with citations.
- My apologies,

November 2023
editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Thelma Parkinson. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! - Hi,
- I am sorry for the trouble my edits have caused. I did not cut-and-paste contents into another page. When I created the Thelma Parkinson page, I originally left placeholders for the citations. I only realized almost about an hour after logging off that I never filled in the citations. I logged back in and filled in the citations, but the page was moved to draftspace, I think while I was adding the citations and before posting.
- I have added a request for history merge. I am sorry for all the trouble, but glad for the help. Thank you DV79 (talk) 05:35, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
