Just wanted to say, great find with the Belfast Telegraph video interview and the broadwayworld.com links on the article! ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 16:30, 23 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

No worries it always makes it easier when content is added sourced as you did anwyay, it makes editing better! Do you know if there is a source for the Andrew Lloyd Webber Birthday in the Parj show, reporting on it after the event? Be good to add something if there is a source from a newspaper report.♦Tangerines♦·Talk 23:19, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ms Lynch

edit

Excuse my barging in uninvited about the Ms Lynch article you created (I just saw the above notice and had a nosey as I tend to do!). However, I've had experience of articles that I created and worked hard on being deleted, which I thought (and still think) should not have been removed from wikipedia. So I thought I would suggest that perhaps you copy and paste all the content from the article into a sandbox on your profile just in case the AfD decision ends up being to delete the article. That way you won't lose the info and can keep it on your sandbox. Then should they become notable enough for those at wikipedia who don't think they are right now, the article can simply be easily re-created. Looking at it, I think that what might happen is that it could end up being merged into the B*Witched article. I try and take an "inclusive" view about wikipedia but that is just my personal view and would really not carry any weight in the debate. Good luck though. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 19:41, 7 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Kate Fox (writer)

edit

Anyone know how I can add this page to a disambiguation for the anthropologist Kate Fox, and how I can make sure that Kate Fox (writer) comes up in Wiki search results? This is the first time I've made an article for someone who shares the same name with an existing person of note, so I'm not sure - other than distinguishing this Kate Fox as a writer - how to ensure that when a search for Kate Fox is done, the writer comes up in search results alongside the anthropologist.

Any help? Daibh (talk) 20:08, 17 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Kate Fox, promotional image.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Kate Fox, promotional image.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kate Fox (writer), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hull (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Guidant Global

edit

Hello Daibh,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Guidant Global for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

How much are these nudniks paying you to create this spam sandwich? I have stripped out the more egregious bubbles of guff as a public health service.TheLongTone (talk) 14:32, 25 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Is there any particular content that would help to validate the credibility of the page? Guidant Global is one of the most successful brands within the Impellam Group and sits alongside Blue Arrow as a well-known arm of the parent company. My question is, if Blue Arrow can have a wiki presence, why can't Guidant Global? Daibh (talk) 15:41, 24October 2019(UTC)
