Speedy deletion nomination of Thicker than Meatloaf

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Thicker than Meatloaf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of Thicker than Meatloaf

edit

Hello DakotaSunn95,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Thicker than Meatloaf for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is significant enough to be included in an encyclopedia, and the artist doesn't have an article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Meiloorun (talk) 🍁 05:30, 23 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Block notice

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for the persistent addition of hoax content to articles.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: .  Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:01, 27 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I didn't mean to make an addition to a false source; I was only previewing it to take a simple screenshot.DakotaSunn95 (talk) 07:32, 28 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

There are places to experiment without editing actual articles(the general sandbox or your personal sandbox). In looking at a random sample of your edits, many of them seem to have dubious or even no sourcing. This isn't a one-off problem, and as such Wikipedia is currently better off with you blocked. As part of being unblocked you will need to demonstrate that you understand what reliable sources are and how to make use of them when you edit, especially on BLPs, and why we should trust that you will not experiment for your screenshots again. As this request does not do these things, I am declining it. 331dot (talk) 08:07, 28 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I was editing something on Deaths in 2019, and Chris Hedgeworth was an example that only I can preview that's not an actual source. I should've used my screenshot before finalizing an edit, and I'm sorry that this happened. If you would rather decline this reply, I'll never come back to Wikipedia for the rest of the year.DakotaSunn95 (talk) 16:22, 28 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Read our guide to improving articles
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • If you have trouble choosing an article to improve, see this index of articles needing improvement for ideas. Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:
    1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
    2. Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
      • do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this: ...);
      • do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this: );
      • do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: );
      • do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: Foo stub);
    3. Click edit at your talk page, and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this: == Article title ==) the copied content but do not save yet;
    4. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution."
    5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose: reflist-talk. Once you have added the template, click Publish changes.
  • Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~" to your talk page. Thank you. Yamla (talk) 16:54, 28 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I understand that I have a history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia, and I do understand why @Ponyo: righteously blocked me, because I was using vandalism on editing an article.

Decline reason:

Unfortunately, I have had to decline your unblock request since you did not meet the requirements for account rehabilitation set-out by Yamla above (diff here [1]). While repeated unblock requests are discouraged, I'm sure no one would be offended if you filed a new one after completing the described demonstration of your understanding as to how to edit. Please don't hesitate to ping for assistance if you need help! Best of luck - Chetsford (talk) 01:17, 30 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Okay let's just say I would pick an article that I wish I would improve. E.G., I would include how Russi Taylor was the voice of Minnie Mouse from audition in the year 1986 to the time of her cancerous death and burial in mid to late 2019. But, there's no proof that Madeline Amy Schwonne exists anywhere on Wikipedia, or even Velma Crouciér for that matter; however if there ever was such a thing as a cartoon xylophone it would've stayed there. So, please pay attention. Russi, Minnie. Now, Kaitlyn Robrock and I are Capricorns and both have birthdays two days apart. So there. DakotaSunn95 (talk) 06:43, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.

2020-10-28 02:09:02 I'm sorry, but I cannot unblock you. Firstly, your request makes no sense. Please describe how your editing was unconstructive and how you would edit constructively if unblocked. Please read Wikipedia's Guide to appealing blocks for more information. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Guide_to_appealing_blocks)
