Why is the page called Hall & Oates? The band is called Daryl Hall & John Oates, it says it right at the beginning of the page and in the ‘’Name’’ section. Danzigthecat (talk) 00:46, 30 December 2022 (UTC)

Hall & Oates page move

As was pointed out to you a response to your Teahouse question about this, the title of the article has been discussed on multiple occasions and a contention has never been established to move the page as you did; therefore, your bold move of the page has been reverted per WP:RMUM and WP:PCM. While there might be merit to you arguments in favor of moving the page, doing so is almost certainly contentious (as can be seen from the article's talk page) which mean a more formal discussion (e.g. WP:RM) is necessary to establish a WP:CONSENSUS in favor of a new title for the article. Given that it's the New Year, it might take a few days for others to respond to any such request, but you can start one if you wish. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:47, 30 December 2022 (UTC)

I have placed extended confirmed move protection on the article for two weeks. Repeated moving against clear talk page consensus is not permitted. Consensus can change but unilateral moves in a situation like this is not acceptable. Cullen328 (talk) 00:12, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
