Welcome to Wikipedia, DarkLoki!

I hope you like it here and stick around. If you like, you can leave a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself.

Before you start doing a lot of editing, you might want to take the Tutorial. It gives lots of basic information to help you to get oriented on Wikipedia.

You can sign your name on talk pages by using four tildes (" ~~~~ ") for your username and a timestamp. If you have any other questions about the project, then check out Wikipedia:Help or add a question to the Help desk. Alternately, you may choose to send a message to my talk page.

Happy editing! Yuser31415 21:29, 28 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

By the way, do you want to add the {{User Yabasic}} to the end of your userpage? It will produce something like this:
YBThis user uses Yabasic as their primary programming language.

Cool! Where is this logo of yours? Yuser31415 20:34, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Actually they seem to be about the same resolution so if you don't mind I'll leave the userbox as it is. Is that okay? (Oh, and you've got a great userpage!) Yuser31415 21:05, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
On my web browser the userbox image looks okay. Does your PNG logo look better? (Maybe it's a browser fault.) Your Yabasic changes look great! Congratulations. Hopefully we can get the page featured, linked to, and generally a piece of good work reasonably soon! Yuser31415 21:16, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I'll try the PNG ... oops, just realized something. The JPG is under zoom. Does this look bad?
File:Yabico.PNG
Let me know how it looks. Cheers! Yuser31415 21:31, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
(Note: I just fixed a typo in the image link.) Me too :)
Ha ha ha :). Okay, now I've just uploaded an enlarged and antialiased version of your PNG, and converted it to a JPG - does the userbox look better? (Or not ;). Yuser31415 21:50, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yabasic

edit

I will submit Yabasic for a peer review; maybe that will come up with a list of things we can do. Yuser31415 19:31, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yep, that's an English phrase :). Yuser31415 21:48, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oopsy ... that was because I was just reading up on how to do a peer review. I will submit it as soon as I have time (which will be pretty soon). Thanks for reminding me! Yuser31415 18:24, 8 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yabasic nominated for peer review

edit

I finally got round to it  . Let's see what suggestions we get. Yuser31415 06:34, 10 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

No, we can make changes as the review progresses. Yuser31415 19:58, 12 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I replied on the talk page of Yabasic about removing the links. I removed them because I'm going to put links in a references format :). Yuser31415 05:20, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

And I replied again there :). Yuser31415 (Editor review two!) 22:34, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Logo of Yabasic

edit

Apparently it was classified as "fair use" (since it was a logo ;) and someone removed it because fair use images aren't allowed in userboxes (don't ask me why!). I'll have a look later on and see what I can do about it. Yuser31415 (Editor review two!) 19:23, 27 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Userbox of Yabasic

edit

Duh ... again.  . As far as I know the logo is in the public domain with no licensing terms at all ... complicated, as you might see. I'll have a look in a minute, I just have to reply to this person who didn't think he was spamming ... Yuser31415 (Editor review two!) 19:14, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image source problem with Image:Revelstoke dam.jpg

edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Revelstoke dam.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:07, 10 October 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. NowCommons: File:Revelstoke dam.jpg

edit

File:Revelstoke dam.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Revelstoke dam.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Revelstoke dam.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 08:19, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
