Proposed deletion of Bagrat Ioannisiani

edit

The article Bagrat Ioannisiani has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. — Bill william comptonTalk 13:43, 22 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

nnbd.com as a source?

edit

For List of Christian Thinkers in Science, the site nndb.com as a source merely labels the individual scientists as some religion, independent of any further clarification if it is merely cultural background or actual sustained religious devotion. Should it be the only page cited for one of the scientists listed on the above article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thebadger33 (talkcontribs) 00:42, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Tornado chaser. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Stephen C. Meyer seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Garegin Tosunyan moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Garegin Tosunyan, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can develop the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 02:01, 12 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Armenia/Azerbaijan discretionary sanctions

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Armenia, Azerbaijan, or related conflicts. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
