{{unblock|As an AT&T dynamic IP and DNS broadband customer, I have to take whatever IP is handed out to me. I don't get to pick. I should not be blocked on an IP that could be assigned to any random person. Especially if I'm not the source of bad behavior. Even though page says "You are not blocked from reading pages, only from editing them", in fact I cannot view any articles. The block page just reloads when I click on red link to the article at the bottom of the page.}}
"Your user name or IP address has been blocked from editing. You were blocked by SlimVirgin for the following reason (see our blocking policy): Amorrow Your IP address is 71.141.3.30."
- The block log doesn't show that IP as having been directly blocked [1], nor has your user account so I cannot see the source of your block. IP's get blocked to protect the integrity of the project, we cannot just ignore IPs seeking to damage wikipedia. You are not blocked from reading pages, as you say you click on a red link. Red links are pages which do not exist yet, i.e. nothing to read. If you click on a red link the default action is to take you to the edit screen so you can start the article if you can. So clicking on red links is actually an edit action hence the block message. --pgk(talk) 13:39, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Csix logo.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Csix logo.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:05, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Articles for deletion nomination of CSix
editI have nominated CSix, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CSix. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. John Vandenberg (chat) 07:56, 10 May 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Csix logo.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Csix logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
PLEASE NOTE:
- I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
- I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
- If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
editHello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer be able to have them marked as minor by default. For more information on what a minor edit is, see WP:MINOR or feel to get in touch.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 20:06, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
