- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
Hello Devbug,
It seems to me that an article you worked on, Apache Marmotta, may have something copied from http://marmotta.incubator.apache.org/. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.
It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.
Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 08:40, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
Hello MadmanBot,
I open a talk in the article. In short, the content comes from an Apache project and is therefore APL.
The page is currently under expansion.
Thanks,

editHello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Fabio Corsico may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Fabio Corsico, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages ECB and Generali (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, Devbug. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Apache Marmotta, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Anishwiki12 (talk) 11:54, 24 December 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Sebastian Schaffert
editHello Devbug,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Sebastian Schaffert for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Anishwiki12 (talk) 04:38, 25 December 2013 (UTC)

When i check for notability and your quotation for inclusion in the List of Apache Software Foundation projects, it was included by you and there is no point of promoting a subject that has no encyclopedic value. Anishwiki12 (talk) 04:45, 25 December 2013 (UTC)

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
