The relevant policy seems to talk about individuals' names, not group names. However, {{uw-softerblock}} addresses representations of being associated with a group, and also the conflict of interest issue. I have reverted to a version that does not contain biographical problems. I suggest that when you make an edit, you use the edit summary box to describe what changes you are making. If you are making a major edit, such as removing a lot of text or any content with sources, discuss it on the article's talk page first. Why did you delete my entry to List of Icelanders

Hello,

I was wondering why you deleted my entry to list of Icelanders. In case you are unfamiliar, Iceland only has aroudn 300,00 people in it's population. Someone from Iceland getting his PhD at a world renowned university is notable and of interest to all Icelanders. Would that not meet the criteria as defined by Wikipedia?

with respect i think you could have handled the situation with user:shortmeets12 better; this was a new editor who was clearly trying to contribute positively to the project.

but first boris, then you as well, kept repeatedly slapping them down. and then you blocked them <10 MINUTES after your first message, which means you effectively gave them no time to interact with you before imposing the block.

boris at least also violated the 3-revert policy (as did the noob of course, who isn't expected to know better).

i've re-added the new image in the 2012 subsection, as we have no other material to illustrate it.

to me, this seems like a really obvious solution to the whole problem, & i'm sorry but i don't understand why you, acting as an ADMINISTRATOR, didnt try a more contrcutive approach to resolving this?

also, you have neglected to provide an expiry date in the talkpage notice for your temporary block of the user, please correct this?

Content factually incorrect

Hi there

I was hoping you could help me, I am the communications manager of this organisation on this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pharmacybrands

We did not load this content, and it is not factually correct. We do not know the author and when I try to change it, I get warning messages that I will be deleted as an editor.

What do I do now? I am legally the owner of information on this company, it is also a listed company on the NZ stock exchange and therefore having incorrect content is a risk to our organisation.

We do not want to use the page for advertising, we just need to update the information to be factually correct.

Can you help me?
