Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Patrick Heron has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://robinsimononart.blogspot.com/2010/09/patrick-heron-which-patrick-heron.html". If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 13:04, 6 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

I don't think it's ok to move an article at AfD to draft space before it is closed by an administrator. Please UNDO the move to draft. Netherzone (talk) 15:16, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Apologies I was trying to delete (as you may have gathered I am no expert in Wikipedia) I didnt want to lose all the formatting so thought if I could "unpublish" it and work on it before resubmitting. Are you asking me to republish it? Dnhdesign (talk) 15:36, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I now cannot find the draft article (it has been deleted) So I cannot undo my move to draft. Apologies if this was not the correct procedure. Dnhdesign (talk) 15:40, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
No, Dnhdesign, I'm letting you know that AfD's are to run their course and that it should not be moved like that. I tried to undo your edit, but the template error persisted, and it did not undo the name change from the draft name. I don't know how to resolve this complexity, so I've reached out to an administrator who is very familiar with AfD procedures for advise on how to resolve the problem. Netherzone (talk) 15:40, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
OK well apologies to all concerned. I didnt mean to cause unnecessary work. Dnhdesign (talk) 15:45, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
The reason why you can't find the article at the AfD is because you moved it here: Draft:Prue Bishop in this edit: [2], after it had been nominated for deletion, and the AfD had not yet been closed. It had previously been in main space as Prue Bishop when you made this edit: [3]. As mentioned above, I don't know how to fix this for you and restore it to AfD correctly. Hopefully it can get resolved, I am sure it can, and no worries about unnecessary work, please do note that in the future, just let an AfD run its course so the community can weigh in and consensus can be achieved on the outcome. The AfD closer (usually an administrator) is the person who determines if it should be kept, deleted or draftified, not the article creator nor the nominator. Hope that helps. Netherzone (talk) 15:46, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks I will be more careful in future. Dnhdesign (talk) 15:54, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
