2010 census
editThere is a note below said 1982、1990、2000、2010 figures are from census. Yes, it's not an exact value, but an alive database may be better than an old dead link one.
- @Vgfa: Yeah but still though, there is an alternative to the dead link, and that is the archived link. For example, you put the link to the references, then you use the wayback machine site to visit old pages. If you wish to do so, visit H:AAS for more details. -DoanVN (talk) 11:07, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
I've seen the web archive. I actually means there is a new figure the Gov served now. Why banned it because of not "exact value"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vgfa (talk • contribs) 11:13, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Vgfa: Fair enough, and if that is the case, I'm bringing back your edit. Never have been so much into discussing about improving a certain article, but that's what life as a wiki user is. -- DoanVN (talk) 11:20, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
Turkmenistan
editHello, and welcome to wikipedia, i am a new editor as you! I have noticed that you reverted my edit in Turkmenistan. I had added it's official name (Republic of Turkmenistan), you said this claim is unreferenced. Sorry for maybe bothering you, but could you elaborate further? In most cases, is it reffered as republic of. Best Regards and Welcome, Arcatom (talk) 19:00, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
- Greetings. The reason why I reverted your edits and removed the "republic of" part of the lede is because the Turkmen constitution never says about the official name of the country, nor the official government says the full country name. To say "republic of Turkmenistan" is like saying the "republic of Ukraine", when in reality the Ukrainian government never says about the full country name nor the constitution says about it. Hope that helps a lot! -DoanVN (talk) 04:29, 14 June 2020 (UTC)
- If you want to know more about why I did this, best visiting the talk page for further details about this. A month ago, there was a discussion about the country's full name. -DoanVN (talk) 04:39, 14 June 2020 (UTC)
- Ahh, now i understand. Strange enough is the fact that the constitution does not mention the official title, but now i am convinced. Thanks for the info! Arcatom (talk) 18:02, 14 June 2020 (UTC)
- You are welcome, friend! Glad you understand it. --DoanVN (talk) 04:21, 15 June 2020 (UTC)

Editing
editI say that I do apologize for inconveniencing you, I merely wanted to contribute what I know for people to educate themselves from. Please understand that I mean no harm towards you or anyone else. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SCPdude629 (talk • contribs) 16:05, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
- That's fine friend. Try not to get in trouble next time, and please cite a source after editing in the future. If you do not know how to do it, WP:CITE and WP:REFBEGIN are the way to go. Those should help you. —DoanVN (talk) 16:15, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
