Pending changes reviewer granted
Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Acceptance of unreferenced pending change
Hello. You accepted a pending change at Libertarian Party (United States) that changed Jorgensen's popular vote total to a number higher than the one in the cited source. The editor that added it has been trying to edit-war it in and they are the reason the page is now PC-protected. Please be careful in verifying the correctness of pending changes before accepting them. Thanks. ― Tartan357 Talk 05:05, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi @Tartan357:. Initially, let me start off by apologizing that I didn't spot that. I reviewed the edit and it is a relatively small change in vote totals and is in close proximity to a source. So it did not appear to be the sort of edit that is, what I understand to be, the focus of the pending changes review process (i.e., vandalism, BLP issues, copyright violations, patent nonsense, or legal threats/libel) per Wikipedia:Reviewing_pending_changes#Reviewing_process. In any event, I'm sorry to have waded into this edit war and will try to get a better sense for the context of edits going forward so that this sort of thing doesn't happen again. DocFreeman24 (talk) 05:56, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
- DocFreeman24, no problem, it's an understandable response. Thanks for your reply. ― Tartan357 Talk 07:32, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
- Personally, I disagreed with the admin's decision to use PC-protection instead of semi-protection to address this issue, for exactly the reasons you brought up. ― Tartan357 Talk 07:39, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
