As a member of WikiProject Comics, I thought you might be interested in the Comics Collaboration of the Fortnight we have set up. Please feel free to vote on the articles listed, although bear in mind that a vote for a particular article means you are pledging to help improve the article. The goal of the collaboration is to improve articles to Featured Article status, as we feel Comics is under-represented in that area. Thanks for your help. Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman refers to a television series. Is the wikiproject comics tag really appropriate? RJFJR 21:01, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
- your reply:Well, I figured that, as the subject matter was drawn from comics (no pun intended), that the tag would be appropriate. I've also tagged a few other television shows, such as Smallville, and I believe I tagged the Justice League cartoons. I'm aiming to cover a widebase of comics, not just the characters and comics proper, but also techniques, artists, and related media, when appropriate. I was merely trying to be bold. However, if you find it inappropriate, then go ahead and untag it. I've been on a rampage lately, tagging for the Comics project.
- I just wanted to make sure you relaized it was a television series and not a comic book series. As long as you know that and have taken a minute to consider then it's find by me.
- Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages with ~~~~ since it makes it easier to reply to you (I just looked in the history but it's easier if you sign and on very active pages it can be hard to find). RJFJR 15:59, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
To be honest, I wasn't aware of your contributions when I unstubbed it, only that there was certainly enough info there to warrant stub tag removal. I see that you have added a lot of the current article single-handedly though, and you deserve a compliment on putting together so much information. :) --Pentasyllabic 05:48, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

Secret Society of Super-Villains
editI'd say our collective efforts have done a lot of good. We helped preserve the hard work of other editors, added to it, and split it properly so no one page got too cluttered. I just added a link to your page on the main Society article. Cybertooth85 06:23, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Your mediation request
editYou recently requested for mediation at Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-04-29 List of Secret Society of Super Villains members. However, the case, as it involves a user who does not respond to those involved, is not one for the mediation cabal to handle. However, I have gone to WP:RfP and referred your case there to have List of Secret Society of Super Villains members semi-protected as the user had a changing IP, and because of this it is now semi-protected. I'll be closing the case unless there are any problems. Cowman109Talk 17:09, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

Questions on uploading pictures
editHey Doc,
I've recently been scanning pictures from my Top 10 collection so there could be more pictures on the respective articles pages. Could you give me some pointers for uploading comic images and then including them on pages, because the How-To info is spread across several pages it seems. Cybertooth85 23:29, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
I'm curious
editShould I post responses to your post on my discussion page here or at your main account? --Basique 14:17, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationales
editThanks for uploading or contributing to Wikipedia I notice the image pages of the item listed below specifiy that the images are being used under fair use but there are no explanation or rationale as to why thier use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description pages a specific explanation or rationale for why using these image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description pages and edit them to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 11:42, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

Calm down.
editI see that you've gotten in a few scuffles with ScottKazama. While he has indeed been a problem over the past few months on several pages, his edits now are justifiable. With people getting their hands on MvC3 copies, info like Galactus as the final boss is pretty much official. Also, his message to you contained no threats at all, though his edit summaries did. Thanks. TheStickMan[✆Talk] 01:39, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
