Wikijunior Spanish to English Translation Request
editHi, I found a translation request started by you to translate Wikijunior from Spanish into English, but the Spanish page is blank. Is this supposed to be an English to Spanish translation, or am I missing something? --Dorje Shedrub 16:06, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- Ooops, I actually meant from English into Spanish. If you mind translating e to s, give me a couple minutes to update the article. Thanks! -- user:zanimum
My Spanish really isn't good enough - I was just browsing out of curiosity, and thought that I should let you know. Sounds like a good project though, and I hope somebody will claim it. --Dorje Shedrub
- Okay, thanks anyway! -- user:zanimum
About the images you've uploaded
editYou might want to ask the website whether you can reproduce the images under GNU Free Documentation License or another free license. By default a website is copyright, however in this case the likelyhood of the owner objecting to using the images is small. Try sending them an e-mail and request permission to reproduce it and refer back to the page and the GNU Free Documentation License KittenKlub 11:32, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
I assume that no permission were given. They were not tagged to be deleted yet, so I tagged them and removed from the page. If you do get a confirmation you can put back them back by clicking on the history and reverting the previous entry. Don't forget to update the license in that case as well. At least we've tried. Khmer Language box
editអនកបេនេះផ្ដល់បានដោយការយល់ឋ្នាក់ទាបនែភាសាខ្មែរ៕
I would rewrite that as:
អ្នកនេះជួយផ្តល់បាននៃភាសាខ្មែរដោយថ្នាក់ទាប។
That would translate to: This person is able to contribute with a low level of Khmer. Some might write it differently though. You can use អ្នកប្រើប្រាស់ for 'user.' --Dara 17:18, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I've been away from wiki for a while, but I made the change today. --Dorje 22:04, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
to Dorje Shedrub about Tibetan script in Wikipedia
editKusu depo yinpe!
In the Windows environment, I have found that Tibetan script on Wikipedia pages does not stack properly, it just appears horizontally, letter after letter. You must use an OpenType font, such as "Tibetan Machine Uni", but WikiEdit and/or the browser must also know how to use the OpenType coding. Are you saying that Tibetan words appear STACKED properly on your computer?? If so, can you specify your software environment, including the name of the font? - If not, what can we do about this problem? I checked on Wikipedia's Indic languages compatibility page, and everything was OK, EXCEPT THE TIBETAN. I can use "Tibetan Machine Uni" in a Word document, with no problems. Why not in Wikipedia?

To the article which you started, I've added a list of sources that have extensive material on the Guhyagarbha Tantra - as well as a list of commentaries that exist in Tibetan. Some of the sources, including Gyurme Dorje's Introduction, and Dan Martin's article are available on line. Chris Fynn (talk) 20:07, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
