Parmar

edit

Hi, it is important that Wikipedia presents information WP:N neutrally and that it can be verifiedin reliable sources. Your changes at the Parmar article are doing neither of these things and, worryingly, come at around the same time another account has been making similar efforts for what appears to be a similar purpose. Your edits are likely to be reverted, and I suspect you might benefit from a read of WP:MEAT. - Sitush (talk) 13:08, 24 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

You are having similar issues at Pawar/Bhoyar, even after I explained the above. Your sources were not reliable and, even if they had been, didn't support the entirety of what you were saying. This entire situation, and the likely off-wiki co-ordination, seems to be driven by sanskritisation. Sitush (talk) 14:00, 24 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! )

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Parmar, you may be blocked from editing. Your contributions to the linked page has been reverted thrice. You might get reported at WP:ANI if this continues. iMahesh (talk) 04:15, 25 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please note

edit
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in South Asian social groups. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Just stop

edit

You are now trying to create Draft:Kshatriya Pawar, which is another attempt to reproduce your sanskritising claims rejected at articles such as Pawar/Bhoyar and Parmar. Just stop, please: pushing an agenda in this way is highly disruptive. - Sitush (talk) 09:48, 25 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'll just add that we don't write separate articles for castes which use more than one name. What we do is have an article titled after the most commonly used name & we mention in that any other names by which they are known (with reliable sources). We create WP:REDIRECT articles for the less common names and those automatically send the reader who searches for that to the main article.
Almost certainly, Parmar is the most common name for the community also known as Bhoyar, Pawar etc and as such all of these attempts of yours to create content under such titles is bound to fail ... unless you can convince Wikipedia contributors that Parmar isn't in fact the most common.
Furthermore, we never state varna in the lead section of articles, and it is almost always inappropriate in the titles also (articles concerning Brahmins being a notable exception because many Brahmin communities are in fact most commonly known as "X Brahmins" or "Y Brahmins" etc). - Sitush (talk) 10:14, 25 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

The Joshua Project is not a reliable source, please do not use it and please reply to this message

Misrepresentation of source at Draft:Kshatriya Pawar

edit

Not only do you use an unreliable source, that Joshua Project page[1] does not back the text "Kshatriya Pawar/Pawar/Bhoyar and Bhoyar-Pawar are all names of Pawars". If I find more examples of this I may block you or topic ban you. Doug Weller talk 10:59, 25 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Iam sorry.i didn't knew that. I will remove that citation of Joshuaproject as soon as possible. Dr.Piyush Parmar (talk) 02:29, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Ibjaja055 They created the article anyway, after your decline. - Sitush (talk) 03:38, 28 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Sitush Thank you for drawing my attention to it. I have redirected the page to Pawar/Bhoyar that is currently being considered for deletion. If the article is deleted, all the ones on the mainspace would also be deleted too. Ibjaja055 (talk) 04:57, 28 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
