A tag has been placed on Vijay Goel (Corporate Lawyer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Smartowner

edit

Hi Draknight, I have just nominated this article for deletion as there are a number of problems that make is non-encylopaedic. Significant sections of the article are copied from a press release and key sections of the article are only referenced by press releases. In order to establish notability, the article should draw from editorial content from reputable sources. Some statements are misleading (e.g. there is mention that people involved in Smartowner had been involved in Snapfish, yet the source does not mention the people involved, only that Snapfish has been bought. Some parts of the article are very "marketing speak" and therefore give way to promotion for this service. It therefore touches on 3 areas of concern (copyright, references, promo). An admin will review the deletion request before actioning on it. If you would like to object, please follow the button on the main article page to lodge an objeciton on the article's talk page. If you have any questions, please let me know. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 07:48, 28 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve Nerdify

edit

Hi, I'm 331dot. Draknight, thanks for creating Nerdify!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Most of the sources given are only brief mentions. Notability guidelines (WP:ORG) ask for in depth coverage in independent reliable sources. Such sources will be needed. Also, press releases are not considered appropriate sources.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

A tag has been placed on Nerdify, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
