Please use edit summaries

edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! R9tgokunks 04:41, 20 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Removal of content at Bourbon Restoration

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. R9tgokunks 04:44, 20 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

The "Montjoy Saint Denis!" content was removed since there was no true translation of the above motto. I also found it undeniably redunant to add two mottos if the they nearly have the same wording. I need a further explanation regarding this blatant threat of the loss of editing privileges. Good day, sir.   Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Edgardo Angara. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:34, 13 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Presidential Proclamation 1081, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Booyahhayoob (talk) 13:24, 19 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Then redirect one page to the other or suggest a merge on their talk page. Blanking pages is almost always a no-no on Wikipedia. Booyahhayoob (talk) 13:45, 19 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sure. Just link me the other page and I'll work on it. Booyahhayoob (talk) 14:35, 19 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Image without license

Unspecified source/license for File:Sen. Ralph Recto official.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sen. Ralph Recto official.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 09:02, 20 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Greetings. I am evidently a new user to Wikipedia. Perhaps you can give assistance to me in adding a true copyright status of the file. Also, does this mean the file itself is copyrighted OR just that I have not specified if it is? I really do not know how to add a copyright status unless more expansive information is given to me. Thanks! EDITOR685422 (talk) 09:09, 20 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Sen. Ralph Recto official.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sen. Ralph Recto official.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 16:04, 20 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited House of Representatives of the Philippines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Unity Party (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Your draft article, Draft:Casimiro Ynares

edit

Hello, EDITOR685422. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Casimiro Ynares".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 14:58, 5 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
