editI know of no way to transfer the individual edit history, unless one has special uber-admin powers, and/or is Jimbo. I do agree that the talk ought to be transferred. I'll get right on doing that. Thanatosimii 20:29, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Alessandra Ferri
editCool! :-) Thanks for your kind note. I am glad that you started the Ferri article... I am surprised how many needed ones are not up yet! For instance... Anthony Dowell was no where to be found so I started it. (I wish we had a pic of Ferri to add to the article!! I know a dance photographer that will gladly give us permission to put one on Wiki but I do not know how to catalogue it. Seems that if it is not my own or over a hundred years old, it gets a warning.) Do you know more about this?Queenofthewilis 12:00, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
Username
editHey, thanks for the note. I'm just a big Jane Austen fan in general - I've read all her books and am reading Marie Dobbs' continuation of Sanditon now - and loved the BBC adaptation of P&P. It was note-perfect. "Mister Bennet! Oh, you vex me!" How about yourself? If you'd taken the username of a P&P character, who would you have chosen? | Mr. Darcy talk 21:24, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- My goodness, perhaps we should have a wikiaffair ... after you reject my entreaties, of course, and I have to bail your little sister out of a terrible scandal ... nevermind, it's all too complicated! I think I identified with Darcy because he's proud, observant, with an acerbic wit, and he's also misunderstood. But unlike him, I'm not brooding (I'm a generally upbeat person), and I am most definitely not tall. Elizabeth is one of Austen's best characters, since she's so real. Austen had the knack for crafting protagonists who were real, with actual flaws, and it makes them all the more endearing. Have you read any of her other works? | Mr. Darcy talk 01:41, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
- I am most distressed to learn that you are a woman of standards. Emma is actually my favorite, for its humor and its wonderful main character. I also recommend Persuasion, in many ways her most sophisticated novel, and very, very funny. It's short, too, so if you want to start slow and work your way up to Emma, that's a good start. | Mr. Darcy talk 04:18, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
- By the way, have you read any of the Thursday Next novels by Jasper Fforde? Might be right up your alley. If not, I'd recommend reading Jane Eyre before starting the first Thursday Next book (The Eyre Affair), just so you understand more of the in-jokes. | Mr. Darcy talk 16:41, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- You're welcome! Fforde is quite the punster, and the more you've read, the more you'll enjoy. I read The Eyre Affair before Jane Eyre, didn't get all the jokes, finally read Jane Eyre (and loved it), then re-read The Eyre Affair and found it to be a different experience once you know the secret handshake. Enjoy! | Mr. Darcy talk 17:14, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

oh yeah!
editThat is so nice of you. Thanks so much! Labour Day was on Monday... sad to think that that's the best we've got here. Thanksgiving always sounds like a wonderful time of the year (of course, my knowledge is limited to movies, etc). And speaking of limited choices in Australia, the best I've got to offer you is vegemite on toast. I promise, it's not as bad as it looks :D I'd give you a pavlova, but the article tells me they're from New Zealand... — riana_dzasta wreak havoc-damage report 08:30, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, that does look good. Bring on the chocolate! This is a decent pavlova recipe. It's very, very sweet, but it's a pretty impressive thing to be able to make. I've tried once before, and failed hopelessly :D Sadly, while searching for Aussie deserts, I found that most of them are actually from New Zealand – horrors! — riana_dzasta wreak havoc-damage report 08:56, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
- Ah yes... there is an inverse relationship between the amount of sleep an average Wikipedian gets, and the average Wikipedian's edit count :D Yes, that sounds like a sensible reasoning for the barren Aussie menu. We have meat pies... not sure what's in them, though.
- I'd send you some Indian desserts, but you'd have to be a dancer like yourself to burn all that off!
- Hmmmm, all this talk about food is making me very hungry. I think I'll take a break for dinner :) — riana_dzasta wreak havoc-damage report 10:03, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
Well, of course you're on the list! Nanaimo bars aren't easily overlooked :D And thanks for the peaches... since we're going healthy, here's some kiwifruit. I'm not sure you see many of those in your part of the world. And yes, kiwi <--> New Zealand... but I think they're actually native to China. *sigh* We got nothin'! — riana_dzasta wreak havoc-damage report 09:28, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Speaking of friends lists, you're on Cliff's list, too! :) — riana_dzasta wreak havoc-damage report 06:22, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

- Great work, good decision. —Xyrael / 10:57, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, what does that one symbolise? —Xyrael / 20:09, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
- Where does that come from? —Xyrael / 15:56, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- No, it's just that I'm guessing the idea comes from somewhere in real life. No problem, and thanks again for your help. —Xyrael / 18:21, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
- Precisely, thank you! —Xyrael / 15:59, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

Re: Beautifying Userpage
editHello there, (sorry about the late reply) in response to your query, yes, I would be delighted if you could help me in designing a userpage. I think a green or blue theme would be nice with perhaps a navigation bar up the top linking to my talk page, my contribs etc. Thanks for the invite, and please let me know about any queries you might have. Thanks again, Jam01 07:12, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
Hello once again, I definately don't want you too do too much work; so here are some preferences (in no particular order):
1. A green Esperanza themed page
2. A light blue page
3. An Ancient Egyptian style page with perhaps a picture of the pyramids?
I hope these help; thankyou soo much for doing this! Jam01 06:44, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
I don't mind at all where you create the designs, whether it be a subpage of your userpage or mine. - Thanks, Jam01 07:09, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the birthday wishes as well! - Jam01 05:34, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Re:
editI never have any fear, I'm too macho for that! >:D Um, yeah… on the serious side, I have to say that the Wiki would be a better place if everyone had a friends' list (I myself stole the idea from RuneScape), and that I would be honoured to be on yours. — $PЯINGεrαgђ 23:09, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
hope you feel better soon
editHi there, I really should have said this earlier, but after reading what you wrote under Friday the 13th in the Esperanza Coffee Lounge, I thought I should say that I hope you feel better soon. I also want to say that I really like your userpage. --Kyoko 06:50, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for the well wishes, and thank you for the soup! Here's some Clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl for you. --Kyoko 14:12, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- You've really never had clam chowder before? Neither the New England variety (white, made with cream), nor the Manhattan style (red, made with tomatoes)? I personally prefer the New England style myself. I love sourdough bread, and I find it intriguing how they will use a small portion of a prior batch's dough as a starter for a new batch... sort of like a link to history, if you think about it. --Kyoko 21:43, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Belated Halo Birthday Thanks
editHi Editor, and thank you very much for the birthday wishes (and nice green balloon :). Also, sorry for the late reply, unexpected wikibreak. Anyway, thanks a lot :)

Emergency Drill
editUnless you refuse, I will be conducting a drill for the safety of WikiLand. Please be prepared, as I am inviting you to oversee the procedure.--EdI'm lonely, talk to me contribs 14:50, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for your input on the drill. Once the drill terminates , I will be implementing new procedures for army operations, which will be approved by you once finished. I might possibly have to make army procedures on my own subpage, though. --EdI'm lonely, talk to me contribs 16:24, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

But I can assume you knew that from your message on the talk page. Just giving you the fancy thingymajiggy. DarknessLord | T | C 00:05, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
My, my, you're a slow responder
editI have to remind for this, to? Check your ready room or whatever it is you call your WikiWar discussion page...the requests page or something, check it. DoomsDay349 02:05, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Military Procedure
editThis message is both for you and DoomsDay. (Yes, DoomsDay, I know you watch this page, too. I'm too lazy to send 2 messages.) Anyway, I'm afraid I can't get the military procedure done right away (school stuff) =(. I'll try and get it done during the weekend.--EdI'm lonely, talk to me contribs 02:42, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

editMost of the vandals I meet are anything but the fuzzy slipper wearing types... I'm thinking steel capped leather boots, or just hooves... Where did Editor at Large come from? I actually had a similar image to what you said about me :D Sort of Godzilla creature lurking over Tokyo, composing beautiful prose. riana_dzasta 07:18, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
