Aromanians and Aromanian language

Hi, can you provde an explanation why you removed the Romanian interwikis from these articles? They appear to be valid. Thanks. —Khoikhoi 17:53, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Because all of the Romanian interwikis contain lies about the Aromanian language and Aromanian culture, and we cannot allow such lies to be said.

I understand, but the articles are still about the Aromanians and the Aromanian language. If you know Romanian, please help correct them. Interwikis should never be removed, however. —Khoikhoi 18:39, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

It was not our intention to go against Wikipedias rules, mostly because it is a large contribution for our culture. Being aware of this, we promise to not remove interwikis in future. We are sorry for troubling you.

We are sorry if we sound a bit demanding, we're trying our best to create an Aromanian wikipedia as it should be, so please help us if you can. We'd like to change the "Armâneashti" title every time we type "roa-rup". Is it possible to change it to "Armãneashce"? Also we'd like to put "From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia" which would be "Di Wikipedia, Entsiclopedia liberã" under every title, can we do this automatically? Thank you in advance. Great Britain

I have removed the interwiki link you added to Great Britain. roa-rup:Britania Mare seems to be about the country, which is the United Kingdom, while the term "Great Britain" is a largely graphical one for the island that contains England, Scotland and Wales. Aromanian language

I know your anti-Romanian attitude from your comments on roa-rup.wikipedia (for example roa-rup:Talk:Prota frãndzã). However, please refrain from pushing that point of view anywhere on Wikipedia. Your edits at Aromanian language qualify as vandalism, as you deleted huge chunks of text supported by sources. While your editing of the "Tatã a nostru" language sample might be legitimate, deleting of several whole sections was surely not. You asked for sources: They are given in the article, under References and External links.

Me again. In your last edit at Aromanians you give an interesting explanation of the A in Armãn, that is, a Greek negation, thus implying that Aromanian means non-Romanian. However, your language has many words starting with a, such as arîd, armîn, asparg, aumbra, avispa (corresponding to Romanian rîd, rămîn, sparg, umbra, viespe), so the most plausible explanation for that A is phonetical, not lexical. Aromanians

Hey, I've noticed the conflict over at the Aromanians article. A suggestion: instead of edit warring, try discussing the changes you want to make on the talk page. Explain your reasons for your reverts, and ask for an explanation from Bogdan and Francis why they reverted you. That way, if you follow the path of dispute resolution, you'll eventually be able to come to a compromise and the conflict will be resolved. Khoikhoi 05:36, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

When you edit an article please make sure you keep all corrections that were made. With your recent edit at Aromanians you removed a source, some legitimate spelling corrections, and several other useful edits, which I am sure you had nothing against. I suspect you edited an older version, but even then you must be careful not to remove other people's work.

Also please stop using the edit summary as a battle field. If you have anything to say to other editors you can always do it calmly on the article talk page, as Khoikhoi suggests above. — AdiJapan ☎ 07:56, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Aromanian flag

Hi. I see you've uploaded Image:Flambura armãneascã.JPG representing the Aromanian flag. Do you have a reference for this flag? As you know, any information published by Wikipedia must be verifiable in reliable sources.

On the internet I could only find these two flags: [1] and [2], of which the second looks like yours, but has a slightly different design and a different color. Other sources, including the Aromanian Association of Paris, claim that Aromanians do not have a flag at all [3]. Could you bring some light into this? Thanks for replying and explaining the situation. Certainly, it's not easy to find sources about the Aromanian symbols, especially because there is no country to officially establish and promote those symbols. You mentioned an article by Dimo Dimcev about this subject. Does that article have a drawing or a picture of the flag? If it does, could you please scan and post that picture on Wikipedia? If you do that, I offer to improve the current file Image:Flambura armãneascã.JPG by redrawing the flag in a more professional way. (You can check other flags I drew for Wikipedia: [4], [5].) Specifically, what I need to see is the exact shape, size and position of all elements, and the precise shade of yellow to use for them. WikiProject Latin

I am not sure whether you are familiar with a WikiProject or not (a description can be found here) but I'm planning on starting one for the Latin language. This is mainly because Latin is and has been such an important language in the history of western civilization but the article is only rated a 'C'. I don't understand why Myzeqeja is named Muzachia. I think it should be the other way round. Nobody is a "native" Latin speaker as it is extinct.All the Romance languages are coming from Vulgar or Simple Latin spoken from the plebes and the romanized Kp4816 (talk) 15:31, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
