Thanks for uploading File:The-lilac-cat.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Thai Lilac Cat.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Thai Lilac Cat.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.buys365.ga/ProductDetail.aspx?iid=189272377&pr=. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of File:ThaiLilaccat.jpeg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:ThaiLilaccat.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file from a commercial source (e.g. Associated Press, Getty Images), where the file itself is not the subject of sourced commentary. If you can explain why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please add the appropriate fair use tag and rationale.

File source problem with File:Thai Lilaccat.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Thai Lilaccat.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Marchjuly (talk) 13:55, 1 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Non-free content use

edit

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload files. However, it appears that one or more of the files you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically User:Eji Emo/sandbox, may fail our non-free policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted file of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Marchjuly (talk) 14:00, 1 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding non-free images to your user sandbox. Non-free files can only be used in the article namespace per non-free content use criterion #9. This means you cannot add non-free file to drafts and user sandboxes as explained in WP:DRAFTS#Preparing drafts and WP:UP#Non-free files; moreover, a non-free image of this particular cat is almost certainly not going to be allowed per WP:FREER because there’s no reasonable reason why a free equivalent image cannot be created or found to serve the same purpose as a non-free one. In fact, there is one such freely licensed image already being used in the draft. If you didn’t understand any if this, then that’s OK because image use on Wikipedia can be tricky. If, however, you continue to upload files with questionable licensing or insufficient source information and continue to try and use files inappropriately, an administrator may step in and give you a more formal warning. Making a mistake once or maybe even twice is generally OK, but repeating the same mistake over and over again isn’t. So, if there’s something you don’t understand about image licensing, please ask for help either below, at WP:MCQ or even at WP:THQ and someone will try and help you. — Marchjuly (talk) 14:16, 1 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
