Welcome! My name is Cindamuse, and I'm one of the online ambassadors, a group of experienced Wikipedians who offer mentorship to newcomers. You don't need to read anything; you can just jump right in and try to improve Wikipedia. If you need help, you can talk with us right now, or can leave me a message on my user talk page. Have fun! editMy name is Cindy and I am an Online Ambassador, working with Professor Gelbman's U.S. Political Parties course. As an Online Ambassador, I function as an advisor, providing support for both professors and students who are incorporating Wikipedia into the classroom. My role serves to assist newcomers with navigating the encyclopedia and answer any questions that would lend to a greater understanding of the specific culture of Wikipedia. I will be here to guide students through their first 100 edits, and longer, if needed. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need help or have any questions. I look forward to working with you. Best regards, Cind.amuse (Cindy) 17:03, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
