Nomination of Template:Polandball-based article for discussion

[edit source]

Template:Polandball-based article has been listed for discussion, which may result in the template being merged or deleted by consensus. You are invited to comment on the proposed action at the nomination on the Templates for discussion page. Froglord (Finnfrog99) (talk) 11:10, 19 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Where are the discussions? ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 19:19, 19 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'm not making templates for vandalism, user. ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 19:25, 19 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Please don't merge discussions into a single heading

[edit source]

Hi. Please don't merge discussions into a single level-two heading, as it interferes with readability and can give the incorrect impression that several discussions are related when they are not. The talk page guidelines state that Mixing it all into one long post complicates discussion. SuperPianoMan9167 (talk) 22:25, 19 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thank you @SuperPianoMan9167, but not doing this strips off comprehensiveness. I do this to clean up the Table of Contents. ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 09:41, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I also did this because I discovered the fact that discussions can be merged or split. ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 09:46, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
To do this, change == Heading 2 == to a lower level (i.e., level 3–6). ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 09:48, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Its unhelpful, just leave talk pages as how they're formatted automatically Froglord (Finnfrog99) (talk) 09:48, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks @Finnfrog99, but it somehow gives a minor benefit: comprehensiveness. ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 09:49, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
No it doesnt, what does comprehensiveness have to do with this? Leave the talk pages as how wikipedia has been set up to format them automatically. We have the WP:Manual of Style for this
It is misleading, it makes it seems as they are connected moreso than just being discussion relatign to the article, which them being on the talk page already makes clear Froglord (Finnfrog99) (talk) 09:51, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I now merged this discussion with my comprehensive listing of discussions. ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 09:54, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Talk pages are already comprehensive listings of discussions, thats what a talk page is Froglord (Finnfrog99) (talk) 10:07, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I want to comprehensively merge them into one. ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 10:39, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
A discussion can also be a comprehensive listing. ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 10:40, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

What do you want for this? ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 10:44, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
If this gets incorrect impressions, there are still reply buttons on the merged discussions, so there's no need for confusion, fellow editor @SuperPianoMan9167. ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 09:44, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

This was my hard work making my first template, why did someone speedy delete it? ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 20:31, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I wasn't testing. ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 20:38, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I hate my templates being speedy deleted while they're vital.[1] ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 21:08, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Block notice

[edit source]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for and apparent inability to edit productively at this time. Your edits are unhelpful and end up eating up volunteer time cleaning up and you don't appear amendable to adjusting your behaviour when concerns are raised. There may be a time when you are able to edit constructively and collaboratively, but that time is not now.
If you believe that there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then submit a request through the unblock wizard or through your talk page.  Ponyobons mots 22:13, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

The following request was written through the unblock wizard.
Can you explain, in your own words, what you were blocked for?
I was blocked for disruptive editing
If unblocked, what edits would you make and what (if applicable) would you do differently?
I don't know
Is there anything else that may be helpful to your unblock request?
No

ElliotGuy0000 (talk) 09:16, 21 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Since you cannot tell us how you were disruptive or what constructive edits you wish to make, we will need to keep you blocked to prevent your disruption from occurring. 331dot (talk) 09:30, 21 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Decline reason:

You again give no reason why we should unblock you. As you cannot even fill out the unblock request correctly, the CIR concerns are of even more an issue. RickinBaltimore (talk) 12:18, 22 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

  1. It turns out that the template was vital for formatting. The template should be used sparingly because this is used when something's wrong with text but there's no template that is more specific for this issue.
