Hello, I'm Ravensfire. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Atif Aslam discography, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The edit you're making to the article has two problems. The biggest problem is that there isn't a secondary source supporting the edit. That's a major issues as the article concerns a living person. You MUST have sources for something like this. Second, this shouldn't be added to the discography article, it really should be in the main Atif Aslam article, and there's nothing about it there. Without good sources that support the entire edit, it won't matter where you put it though, it will still be removed. Ravensfire (talk) 13:36, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Baarishein
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Baarishein requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://dailytimes.com.pk/354516/atif-aslam-sings-about-love-and-separation-in-baarishein/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. April 2020
Your addition to Baarishein has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. Your article is just about a complete copy-paste from this article
[1]. That's a blatant copyright violation, you CANNOT do that. For an editor that "know almost everything" this is a glaring gap of knowledge. This is not acceptable. Ravensfire (talk) 14:14, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- And then you copy-pasted from Draft:Dil Meri Na Sune which essentially claimed the article as your work, and despite a reviewer declining it for reasons of notability. Never, EVER do a copy-paste move, and if a draft article has been declined, don't move it to main article space, improve the draft and re-submit. Ravensfire (talk) 14:18, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- And now you've done it AGAIN. You cannot just change a few words. That's both a copyright violation still and it's utterly lazy on your part. Enough. No more of that or this will get taken to the administrators. Too much time is being taken by too many people cleaning up after you. I like your enthusiasm but don't like the mistakes you keep making and aren't learning from. Ravensfire (talk) 05:14, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
- More stuff - please don't upload images of living people that you find online to Wikipedia. They're almost always copyrighted so uploading them is a copyright violation. The Asim Azhar image you grabbed from Facebook is copyrighted. Until you have more experience, please don't do this again. You can use WP:FFU if you would like something uploaded and they generally will help avoid copyright issues. Ravensfire (talk) 14:33, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Tajdar-e-Haram
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Tajdar-e-Haram requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
Nominating categories for discussion
Hi, when nominating categories for discussion, please be sure to follow the instructions at WP:CFD#HOWTO. Don't worry, you'll get used to and figure out how categories work. It's not always intuitive. Also, when signing your posts, you only need to add 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You can find more information at WP:SIGN. Thank you and welcome to Wikipedia. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 02:27, 23 May 2020 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Category:Songs with lyrics by Arko Pravo Mukherjee requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
The article Baarishein has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:NSINGLE.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Eatcha (talk) 05:17, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

- If you had read my subsequent comment on the nomination it said, 'Nomination withdrawn' for the very reasons you stated, without a nomination it can't be merged, so it is safe.
- However, I do have a relevant question for you. How can a song have 3 different sets of writers? I give as an example, Aankh Maarey or is it 3 different songs with the same title? Thanks. --Richhoncho (talk) 15:06, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- If a song has versions (like reprise or recreated), then it may have different writers. When a song is recreated, it do not contain same writing (composition and lyrics) but similar writing as that of original. So, the recreated song has different songwriters. But I don't think that they should be considered as a different set. They have used the original songwriters' work. If another version would be created, it may have other songwriters with not same but similar writing as that of original song.
In your example of Aankh Maarey, the recreated version of the original song was made in 2018 by another set of songwriters. It was similar to that of original but not same. If 2 songs have same titles, then they may or may not be similar. I give examples. Tere Bin in Bas Ek Pal and Tere Bin in Simmba are totally different from each other, even after having same titles. Similarly, Dekhte Dekhte by Atif Aslam is a recreated version of Sochta Hoon by NFAK. But they have different titles. Hope you understood.
- I also have some question that why:
were deleted? Thank you. Empire AS (talk) 15:31, 23 June 2020 (UTC) Empire AS (talk) 10:31, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- The reasons for the deletion of the 4 categories have been discussed and deleted for the reasons stated, the first 2 because there is and will be no suitable category scheme, the 3rd because we do not, except in exceptional circumstances have 2 or more cats in the songwriter, composer & lyricist cats, and finally, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cats have not established any notability. This is not Facebook where trivia can reign supreme.
- With regard to the songs. If a songwriter writes a song, then he has written that song forever, with that writer's explicit permission another writer can contribute or change words and melody and claim additional rights, but not all of them. Therefore Aankh Maarey, and some other credits from the Bollywood field are incorrect. If I could investigate from primary and secondary sources I would, but I can't.
Happy editing. --Richhoncho (talk) 10:47, 23 June 2020 (UTC)

So currently the issue is that although the page Jo_King_(triathlete) has the right title, it's still showing as re-directed even after I tried to delete the re-direct. Also, "Jo King (triathlete)" is not found as an article title in Wikipedia search.
Mojiayan (talk) 08:47, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
@Mojiayan Don't worry. You must know that a newly created page is not shown in Wikipedia search for some hours. But after this, it will be shown up in Wikipedia search. If you use any external website to search this page like Google, Yahoo etc, it would not be shown there. It takes nearly 3 months for the page to be visible on external search engines. After this period, they are indexed and appear in external search engines too. I didn't understand your first question of redirect. Can you explain? Thank you. Your contributed article, List of Bandbudh Aur Budbak episodes
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, List of Bandbudh Aur Budbak episodes. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Bandbudh Aur Budbak#Episodes. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Bandbudh Aur Budbak#Episodes. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Bakertheacre Chat/My Contibutions 18:50, 4 July 2020 (UTC)

Autopatrolled granted
Hi Empire AS, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Chetsford (talk) 06:13, 5 July 2020 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted
Hi Empire AS. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group. Please check back at WP:PERM in case your user right is time limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:
- Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance so that they are aware.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Tu Jaane Na. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 17:09, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
Advanced permissions
I am not sure where to start this discussion since it involves multiple admins and their actions concern this particular user.
Mz7, Rosguill, Chetsford Are you guys sure with providing advanced permission to this user? Especially in the light of recent WP:ANI (Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive1041#Disruptive_editing_of_Empire_AS) which got no attention thanks to the current situation of a lack of administrators adminning this area but all of the concerns were thoroughly correct. One needs to do nothing more than watching the recent history of this page where this user violated WP:LINKVIO, WP:3RR and then resorted to throwing unsourced statements and ironically claiming in edit summary that he "don't want any edit-war". I should also not mention that all recent page creations by this users are just WP:CFORKs and the most recent redirect is absolutely going to be deleted.[2]
With so many competence problems, how one can trust such an editor with advanced permissions? शिव साहिल/Shiv Sahil (talk) 11:48, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
- @शिव साहिल: I have no opinion at this time whether it was appropriate to grant this user new page reviewer or autopatrolled permissions; however, pending changes reviewer (PCR)—the permission that I granted—has historically required a substantially lower bar of trust than other permissions. This is because PCR only grants the ability to accept pending changes; any user may reject pending changes by reverting to the last accepted revision, and if they do this, their edit will be automatically accepted. Additionally, the PCR guideline states that when reviewing pending changes,
It is not necessary for you to ensure compliance with the content policies on neutral point of view, verifiability and original research before accepting, but of course you are free to uphold them as you would normally with any edit you happen to notice.
See also the administrator instructions in the editnotice for WP:PERM/PCR. Given this lower competence requirement, in general recent noticeboard threads and even recent blocks do not necessarily preclude the assignment of pending changes reviewer rights. I hope this explains my thought process. Mz7 (talk) 16:32, 11 July 2020 (UTC) - शिव साहिल, the new page reviewer permissions were conferred for 2 weeks on a trial basis. I'm not sure I see full on LINKVIO in the provided diffs, but the recent edit warring to introduce statements not supported by reliable sources is a significant issue, and enough reason to end the trial run early and also remove autopatrol permissions. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. signed, Rosguill talk 18:42, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
- Rosguill, You may see that the editing warrings of reliable sources are not of current. They are from April 2020 (3 months ago). Then I was a very new Wikipedian (joined 9 April) and didn't know much about editing. Here, it shows that 9 of my pages were deleted, but they were only redirects of Bablu Dablu, you can check here. Only 1 article Dil Meri Na Sune was deleted but recreated by me. The rights, I was given, were not misused. I reviewed some pages and I'm sure that they will be again accepted by another reviewer same as me. If you see edit warrings then you must also see their dates, whether they are old or new, rather than only seeing warrings. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 04:27, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

User:Empire AS - Why are you in such a hurry to get advanced permissions? The most favorable answer is simply that you want to help improve Wikipedia. However, there are signs that you do not understand Wikipedia well enough to help it. We don't need to grant advanced permissions to editors who are trying to help improve the encyclopedia, but are creating more work for other volunteers to clean up behind them. There are other less favorable reasons, such as that you are trying to sneak in for advertising for a hidden employer, that are unlikely but are not impossible. You have shown that you mean well but have questionable judgment, and that your questionable judgment makes work for other volunteers. I see a distressing number of notices of Categories for Deletion that are red-linked, meaning that the categories were deleted. You don't need to create categories that the community deletes. Slow down! You don't need to be so eager to use advanced permissions to help us that you make work cleaning up behind you. You can learn about policies and guidelines through ordinary editing. You don't need mentoring or training; you need self-mentoring, slowly. We can see that you make too many mistakes, which probably just means that you are in a big hurry to help us, but we don't need help by being in a big hurry. Slow down and learn by normal editing. Robert McClenon (talk) 14:58, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Robert McClenon:, Yes I was in hurry to get advanced permissions. I only want to help Wikipedia in a better way by using that permissions. The statements of copyvio, I said in User talk:Rosguill are right or not, I don't know. But I think that when other work is present although some text is copied, therefore, my work would also be safe. I haven't read copyvio, as it is time consuming. I made too many mistakes as I haven't read any policies or guidelines, except a few one because they would take a lot of my time. Okay, as you advised, I'll slow down to learn in a better way. I'll wait and work for a year to get that permissions fairly. But, I want training too and Rosguill isn't ready for it. I didn't understand your statement of 'sneak in for advertising for a hidden employer', would you explain? Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 05:31, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- No, User:Empire AS, it isn't that User:Rosguill isn't ready for training. Rosguill has decided that YOU aren't ready for training for the advanced permissions. And the more you say you want the training, the more likely it is that other experienced editors will agree that you are rushing it. Robert McClenon (talk) 05:55, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- We, the community, are hesitant to hurry the training of editors who want training and are not ready for it, for at least two reasons. The first, which is probably your case, is simply users who are overconfident, who think they can help, but who have to be cleaned up behind. The second is users with ulterior agendas. There are several types of ulterior agendas, but the simplest one to explain is an editor who is being paid under the table by an employer or by a paid editing ring. We have had such editors in the past, and we do our best to screen them out in advance, but they are usually in a hurry to get advanced permissions, saying that they just want to help improve the encyclopedia. So an editor who is in a hurry to get advanced permissions is probably overconfident, which creates risk, and is possibly dishonest, which is a less likely but more disastrous risk. Robert McClenon (talk) 05:55, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Robert McClenon:, I was overconfident, but when rights were taken, all that collapsed. I'm 3 months old user, I don't know whether you consider me a paid editor or not. But the reality is, I'm not being paid for editing it, I just want to improve it. More honestly, I've interest in music, therefore, I joined Wikipedia to improve and create articles about music that I like. You can see my created articles here. Most of them are about what that I mentioned above. It's my own eager. But I assure you that I want training, not for the sake of rights but to learn. It's upto Rosguill that whether he trains me or not. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 06:19, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- No, User:Empire AS - You still don't quite understand. First, you still don't seem to understand what I am saying about the community's concerns about dishonest editors. I am not saying that we think you are one, or even that we aren't sure. I am saying that, in view of multiple previous incidents where Wikipedia has been corrupted by corrupt editors, we have to have a policy of being cautious. If you don't understand the underlying concern, and it appears that you don't, then you definitely don't yet have the mindset of an experienced editor. Second, I don't think the issue is that User:Rosguill doesn't want to train you, although it is up to him how to use his limited volunteer time. The issue is that he and other experienced editors can see that you do not have the mindset of an experienced editor yet, and you won't get it by training. Maybe you have learned from having your permissions downgraded, but I am not sure. Robert McClenon (talk) 15:09, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Robert McClenon:, If Rosguill doesn't have time or they can't accommodate any more pupil, then they would simply tell me instead of saying, I know perfectly well who you are at this point. I am not going to mentor you. See here. According to the reply, it's clear that he doesn't want to mentor me. No doubt, it's clear what they said. I accept that I don't have the mindset of an experienced editor, but I would try to gain it slowly by the time. Thank you. Best wishes. Empire AS Talk! 05:20, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

List of songs recorded by Armaan Malik moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, List of songs recorded by Armaan Malik, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of G Kaboom
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on G Kaboom requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://gkaboom.tv.com.pk/.
Hi Empire AS! I was browsing WP:GAN and noticed you nominated List of Pakistani music bands for GA. Since this page is a list and not an article, it actually can't become a GA. Lists can only become featured lists, which you can nominate at WP:FLC. Regarding the FL criteria, I don't think it's up to standards yet. If you'd like further assistance, feel free to ping me or look at other lists of this type that are currently FLs. But I would recommend removing it as a GAN nomination as lists can't become GAs. Just thought I'd let you know! :-) – zmbro (talk) 23:10, 2 August 2020 (UTC)

- Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars, Yes, I can. As you know that FAs and GAs are considered good to create new articles. I saw a GA titled "Tum Hi Aana". There, the translation was in bold. I visited its talk page and found that a reviewer instructed the nominator to bold the translation. See here the 5th line. Tears. Empire AS Talk! 03:54, 14 August 2020 (UTC)

I noticed in a GA review at Talk:L'essenziale/GA1, which was done a few days later by the same reviewer that a bold translation was not done after the nominator pointed out that bolding in the lead is for alternate titles not translated titles, and it passed. MOS:DATE format and other scripts
We should not update the {{Use dmy dates|XXXX}}

- @Fylindfotberserk:, Which article are you talking about? I may explain my changes if you tell me the article. Thank you. Tears. Empire AS Talk! 14:28, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Have to check those, quite a few of them I have in my watchlist. I mean, please do not run the "DATES to dmy" script by OhConfusious if the only thing it does is change the template date at the top of the article, without doing any formatting changes of dates in the article. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 15:56, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- The script is alright. It changes tag date to current as well fixes other date formats in the main body. The changing of tag date isn't an issue, as it changes it to latest checked date. Kindly, check again that articles, you'd see correct formatting. You may tell me about which article are you talking about? Thank you. Tears. Empire AS Talk! 16:04, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Nothing wrong with the script, but the purpose of the template is not to "changes it to latest checked date", but to correct any new introductions that are not accordign to the preferred DateFormat and update it then only. Exact words from the template documentation:
periodic script or bot runs clean up formats, correcting any new introductions since its last visit, and updating the visit date on the {{Use dmy dates}} template.
.. Also note that unnecessarily updating the "dmy/mdy templates" or "EngVar" templates got a few top tier editors warnings and blocks, since according to blocking admins, these were bulking up the history without much real editing. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:20, 21 August 2020 (UTC)- Example this one is proper since the script corrected the accessdate in the article body from "2020-08-21" to the preferred format "21 August 2020", the change is visible in the read mode too. This is unnecessary, since no change is made to the dates in teh article body. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:27, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Another better example [5] covering everything from the templates to the changes in the article body. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:37, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Fylindfotberserk, I may see this in my edit of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. But down there, you may see that extra spaces in citations are also removed (general formatting). If the script didn't make any changes in the body, that doesn't mean that a check isn't done. It ensures that articles don't go to long without any date format audit. You should ask this problem of tag date changing on the script's talk page. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 03:15, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- General formatting is not the same as correction of date formats, which is the primary purpose of that template. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 06:35, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Fylindfotberserk:I know that general formatting isn't date formatting. As I said, "If this script didn't make any changes in the article body, that doesn't mean that a check isn't done. It ensures that articles don't go to long without any date format audit." Same as in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, it didn't make any changes in article's body, but that doesn't mean that check wasn't done at all. Thank you. Tears. Empire AS Talk! 06:41, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- Do not run general formatting script willy-nilly. It changes nominations from crores to millions, that was not agreed upon in the consensus here. Also see MOS:INDIA where crores/lakhs are supposed to be mentioned with link to the first occurrence of the term. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 15:33, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
- But western units (million) are used worldwide and we may use them as a replacement to crore as 1c=10M. I think it must be preferable to use western units. Every Indian would know that what's difference between a million and a crore. I'm not running the general script willy-nilly, I'm using it to fix issues in articles. Tears. - But western units (million) are used worldwide and we may use them as a replacement to crore as 1c=10M. I think it must be preferable to use western units. Every Indian would know that what's difference between a million and a crore. I'm not running the general script willy-nilly, I'm using it to fix issues in articles. Tears. Empire AS Talk! 01:17, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
- General formatting is not the same as correction of date formats, which is the primary purpose of that template. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 06:35, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- Another better example [5] covering everything from the templates to the changes in the article body. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:37, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Example this one is proper since the script corrected the accessdate in the article body from "2020-08-21" to the preferred format "21 August 2020", the change is visible in the read mode too. This is unnecessary, since no change is made to the dates in teh article body. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:27, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Nothing wrong with the script, but the purpose of the template is not to "changes it to latest checked date", but to correct any new introductions that are not accordign to the preferred DateFormat and update it then only. Exact words from the template documentation:
- The script is alright. It changes tag date to current as well fixes other date formats in the main body. The changing of tag date isn't an issue, as it changes it to latest checked date. Kindly, check again that articles, you'd see correct formatting. You may tell me about which article are you talking about? Thank you. Tears. Empire AS Talk! 16:04, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
I don't know. That's why I rarely use this one. And when I do, I manually restore that part. Kinda tedious. Or I use it in articles that do not cause that problem like that. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:31, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
- So, it must be done manually. However, I'll try not to change units. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 01:23, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
- But that happened again here. I'd suggest you let go of that General formatting script. All the other scripts you run are OK IMO. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 13:07, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
- Fylindfotberserk, mistakenly. However, the script isn't working neither loading. What has happened to it? Is it loading swiftly by you? Well, here I see no options of Dates to dmy or mdy. Do you? Empire AS Talk! 03:39, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
- Scripts are loading at my side, but it takes time after I open an edit window. Sometimes hangs also, if I keep twinkle enabled. Try disabling it, if you have twinkle installed. Recent changes to the code has increased loading times by far. I get all sorts of errors and freezes. - Sorry for responding late, I was busy in other works so didn't respond to your comment. The script started working the next day, don't know how. Perhaps due to connectivity issues. Regarding 'dates' script, I was using it to make the date order consistent. If it only makes a change in the date tag without making changes in the main body, that doesn't mean that a check isn't done. Updating the tag assures other users that a check has already been done. About 'general formatting' script, I was using it in articles to remove some mistakes. But the problem is that it changes crore to million. I'm not going to use it anymore in articles containing crores. However, I would have changed it, if I knew how to develop a script, but I don't. Perhaps in future I'll learn script writing and remove this mistake from the script. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 01:44, 3 September 2020 (UTC)

- I don't have problem with you running the "DATES to dmy" script. It doesn't change the crore to millions. The "General formatting" script does. When I use it, I keep the budget/gross values copied to a notepad file, After running the script, when the edit window appears with all changes, I replace the chnegd million values with the crore ones copied in the notepad. Just have to do it manually. I've done that in some film articles manually after you edits. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 07:07, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- Fylindfotberserk, Thank you for that corrections. However, I'll request any script develper or myself will remove this units changing process. However, I think your keyboard is out of order, due to which you made some typing mistakes. Empire AS Talk! 07:13, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hehe... it is a gaming keyboard and I have big hands (I do powerlifting style training). After I switched to this keyboard, typos skyrocketed. . The unit changing process has its preferences in many cases. In a lot of other articles it is preferred style. So the script is correct in its own right. In films however, most people prefer crores. There was a consensus on this and that we have to wikilink the first mention of the word crore. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 07:40, 4 September 2020 (UTC)

See User talk:Empire AS/Archive 1#Advanced permissions. Although I don't agree with that. The third right (PCR) was removed after my request for a start over. See User talk:Mz7#PCR. I didn't mind after you used my talk page's style at your user page. I thought that you would use it at your talk page. Anyhow, thank you for being here. Speedy deletion nomination of Tu Jaane Na
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Tu Jaane Na requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tu Jaane Na. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
When tagging a page for G5 deletion please provide the master's name rather than the sockpuppet's name. It ensures the deletion template then links to the WP:SPI case and the master's other sockpuppet categories. Thanks, Cabayi (talk) 08:04, 12 September 2020 (UTC)

- Because the author isn't "real", it's just the master editing under another name, and the master is the reference point under which all the evidence can be found. Compare...
- It's also the name which makes the template work, as I explained above. Cabayi (talk) 12:10, 12 September 2020 (UTC)

Cite MDOT map
{{Cite MDOT map}} uses ISO-style dates as inputs when picking which edition of a map to use when multiple maps were published in the same year. When you changed the date format, each citation to one of those maps defaulted over to the current 2020 year map. You'd have seen that if you took a look at the reference list and saw footnote after footnote all to the 2020 map instead of maps from the 1920s and 1930s. - Except that's not even really necessary. The citation templates will reformat dates to match that tag. Use
|date=14 September 2020
or|date=2020-09-14
or|date=September 14, 2020
but use that tag and a citation template will output "September 14, 2020" regardless. If you had looked at the reference list before you edited, you'd have seen that all of the dates were already consistently formatted, no change needed. (Similarly, extra spaces are ignored, so that edit was not needed either.) Imzadi 1979 → 07:59, 14 September 2020 (UTC)- Imzadi1979, I didn't look at the list. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. - GSS, I don't believe. When a FA can contain such sources then, why not this article? Can you explain that how can you revert my edit to remove that sources but not in that FA? Thanks. Empire AS Talk! 09:30, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- Empire AS, as I said in the edit summary, if one article has unreliable sources it doesn't mean we are allowed to cite them on another. If you want to add sources to support the release date please find some announcements in reliable sources and feel free to add them on the article. GSS 💬 09:46, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- Well, for this article, it's hard to find more sources. Therefore, I was using these sources as the reliable sources don't have release dates. However, I'll suggest you to remove the unreliable sources from Tum Hi Aana too, to fulfill the justice. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 09:52, 18 September 2020 (UTC)

National Action Plan on Climate Change (India)
Created it with caution complying with policies. But it is tagged for speedy deletion. Want your feedback at article talk page where i m contesting for it.tq Heba Aisha (talk) 09:39, 20 September 2020 (UTC)
- Heba Aisha, sorry for delayed response. As you may see on my user page that I'm currently busy in college, therefore I didn't respond at time. However, as you said that you contested the speedy deletion, what happened next? Was it deleted or not? I'm not seeing the article in search that you said. However, I found another article named India's National Action Plan for Climate Change (NAPCC), which you created. I'm not understanding what's the relation between the two. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 01:16, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
Its all right....there is disruption from a particular user who nominates genuine article for delition without having knowledge in that area. That one was deleted but i recreated it with improvement but same nominator has opened a thread on talk page of deliting admin for new one too...where i m responding. I guess ur Autopatroll tag was lost due to same type of disruptions.Heba Aisha (talk) 01:45, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
- Heba Aisha, , thank you. To know about my autopatrolled right removal, you may read User talk:Empire AS/Archive 1#Advanced permissions. I'll get this soon when I'll be back again regularly. However, on your talk page, I'm seeing a problem User talk:Heba Aisha#A Cookie for you. I may fix it if you say. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 05:17, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
- Plz u may proceed.Heba Aisha (talk) 13:08, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
- Heba Aisha, Not done, sorry but this user already fixed that issue. See diff. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 04:20, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
Question
Can you read Nepali? If not, then this edit was improper use of the reFill tool, since you also added an access date. As stated in Template:Cite web/doc#URL, access dates shouldn't be added or updated if nobody actually checked the source to see whether it supported the content in the article. (I probably sound pedantic, but this is more important than it might seem.) Glades12 (talk) 09:47, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
- Glades12 The article was tagged for {{Cleanup bare URLs}}, so I filled in the bare refs using reFill. And it added access dates automatically. I didn't check the sources to verify the correctness of content. You didn't seem to be pedantic, however, it's not the improper use of tool. Regarding reading Nepali, I can read it to an extent. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 10:08, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
Question.
Hi, Empire AS sorry for bothering you during your busy college days, I have to ask a question, if you feel secure to tell the answer of it, as you contribute through Google Chrome, my main question is do you use iOS or Android? If you have insecurity to tell the answer, I won't impel you, another question can I update the music video views on List of most-viewed Pakistani music videos on YouTube during your absence from Wikipedia? Besides it, your English writing and skills are very polished, I still need to ameliorate by skills, I still do some grammatical mistakes. Thank you. Tahaaleem (talk) 11:13, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
- Tahaaleem, First of all, I apologize for the delayed response. I was actually busy in my college work. I edit Wikipedia by Google Chrome on Android smartphone. I've never used any iOS for Wikipedia. I feel nothing insecure regarding the answer. Why you think this to be insecure? Second you are free to edit that article whenever you want and for this purpose, you don't need to be have an implicit or explicit permission from the article's author. Work submitted on Wikipedia can be distributed and edited by anyone, see WP:FREECONTENT, intro of H:EDIT. I'd be glad by your help on that article. You are free to edit any article on Wikipedia, see WP:IAR. If I'm active, then you may edit that article even then if you want. I hope that you'll control your grammatical mistakes gradually by time. It's not a metter to be worried. Thank you for the appreciation. Hope it works. Happy Mawlid. Empire AS Talk! 12:36, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Empire AS, you don't have to apologise as I am aware this year has caused educational crisis, however my school is closed down for this week due to emergence of the virus in a student as far as I know in Murray College, as my school is private, they didn't wanted to take risk. Happy Mawlid to you too. Thank you. Tahaaleem (talk) 13:08, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

- Empire AS, yeah I got a notification, my school is Beaconhouse School System it's the top private school as you know and however I discerned that the school staff weren't following SOP's, however many students wandered around without masks, the truth is I live in Sialkot, and no one bothers to follow SOP's. Tahaaleem (talk) 13:59, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

- Hi, Empire AS, Mawlid Mubarak, I want to ask you something, have you viewed all seasons of Diriliş: Ertuğrul? If yes, which season is your favourite, I have watched the whole series during 2 months (April-June) on Netflix and YouTube, my most favourite season is 1 and 2, with the abhorred being Season 4, which is your favourite? You can ask Cluebot to archive this thread. Thank you. Tahaaleem (talk) 11:03, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Tahaaleem, Mawlid Mubarik! I haven't seen all episodes of Diriliş: Ertuğrul. I was watching this on PTV's Urdu dubbing regularly till 15 September. However, after my college opened, I left watching it. Till then, I had seen 105 episodes (76 from 1st season and 29 from 2nd season). Between these 2 seasons, I'd really prefer the first season. As it contained the good characters like Süleyman Shah & Omar (Claudius). I like those characters very much. However, I have planned to watch the remaining series when my exams will be over. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 11:19, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Best wishes for your exams, idk If I will exams in December, I didn't had EOY exams of the last session due to lockdown, I really don't know, if I will have Mid-Years, are you having board exams? Cheers. Tahaaleem (talk) 11:32, 30 October 2020
- Why did you call 4th season abhorred? Isn't it good? You're in a fix regarding exams. However, my exams of second year would be conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Faisalabad nearly in April or May 2021. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 11:38, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- I abhorred some episodes of it, not completely the whole season, I actually detest the character Kaykhusraw II, although he is a positive character, I still abhor it, specially when he imprisoned Ertuğrul, however all the season was congenial, and Season 4 is actually the least liked season by the spectators. Cheers. Here is the ref to the ratings: https://www.reddit.com/r/ertugrul/comments/ig9ere/least_favorite_season_of_ertugrul/

Service awards
You reverted my edit for a short time because the "template is misbehaving", could you link an example of that? Thanks Terasail[Talk] 09:07, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Actually it's not finely working even now. However, it was working correctly till yesterday. You may see User:Empire AS/Awards page. There I am being shown as a Veteran Editor II, but in reality I'm a Journeyman Editor since now as I'm six months old. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 09:13, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Empire AS: I fixed the issue, I didn't properly implement the date parameters when I updated the template. This is now fixed. Terasail[Talk] 14:21, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Terasail, thank you for fixing the issue. I had no intent to revert your edit. I'm a bit weak in the template namespace so I just reverted your edit instead of correcting it because I didn't know how to fix that. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 14:26, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Empire AS: Yeah, the reason it didn't work however is that there are subtemplates for service awards such as {{Service awards/core}} which was also changed meaning the old template would not work with the updated subtemplates. You would have had to revert them all in order to get the old version back. Terasail[Talk] 14:35, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi, you nominated 5 of my articles for deletion:
Just wanted to let you know that I re-wrote everything in my own words and removed the tags, so there is no need for deletion anymore. Limorina (talk) 12:04, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Limorina, I nominated them because they all were in copyright violations. You shouldn't remove the tag yourself. If the article is fine then an admin will remove that tag. But please let that tag remain untill an admin takes an action. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 12:07, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Empire AS, I don't understand why you nominated the Bamsi Beyrek article for deletion though, you could have just nominated one section for it because the problem was in two sentences.
- Limorina, I didn't know whether it had problems in the sections or sentences. I used [8] for the duplication. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 12:22, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

Oh okay then...--Limorina (talk) 12:23, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Limorina, However, I'll request you not to remove that CSD tags yourself. An admin may remove it during reviewing. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 12:30, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

Copyright conflict
You tagged those pages for speedy deletion, however, nothing has happened all day and I've been anxious and worried 24/7. I paraphrased and fixed everything (do another report!) so can you please remove the tags, please? Limorina (talk) 19:45, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, Limorina. I expect that you'll be alright. I may remove that tags but I'm not going to do that. Don't be worried nor anxious. If you have fixed everything (rephrased) then why are you worried about them. Wait please. Soon an admin will take an action. Hope positive. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 09:36, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Thanks Message
I want to thank you for creating the templates of Diriliş: Ertuğrul and Kuruluş: Osman. I was gonna create them, but you did thanks for it. Thank you for it, and please remove this thread after answering. Tahaaleem Talk 10:44, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for the thanks. Although, I have created these templates but still they need some arrangements and further changes. I think that we should let this message remain. Do you really want it to be removed? Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 11:34, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Category:WikiProject Lanka Premier League members requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
Liz Read! Hi Empire AS ! You didn't classified that 2 template that i have created.Accordig to their Quality.Best Regards ! (Fade258 (talk) 04:33, 1 December 2020 (UTC))
- Hi Fade258, about which 2 templates are talking? I really don't understand? Are you talking about Template:User WikiProject LPL Coordinator and Template:User WikiProject LPL Vice-coordinator or something else? Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 08:40, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Empire AS Yes that you mentioned in the above reply.
(Fade258 (talk) 09:26, 1 December 2020 (UTC))
- Fade258, Speaking about that 2 templates, I'll tell you that they both are very good. However, they needed some corrections and tagging. So, I did that. Also I renamed the former template. I liked your work regarding the project. Keep up this good work by helping in making the project unique. Thank you. Empire AS Talk! 06:40, 2 December 2020 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tu Jaane Na; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --John B123 (talk) 20:54, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
