Dear Johannes Maximilian,
Thank you for your message. I have a couple of questions. If the person doesn't qualify for a Wikipedia entry in English, why does he have a Spanish Wikipedia entry that has been maintained for at least 10 years? (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elio_Quiroga) What is the issue in the English version?
Additionally, some of the citations I have included come from reputable sources such as elpais.es (the most respected newspaper in Spanish language,), The Internet Movie Database (IMDB), Rottentomatoes, the Spanish Academy of Motion Pictures and Arts (Goya Awards Official Site), the most important media editor in Spanish (Planeta de libros), the most reliable source for European cinema, supported by the European Commission (Cineuropa) or a worldwide editor as Penguin Books is. Not passing mentions. Complete articles. What makes these sources unreliable for you?
Thank you in advance, and I will be awaiting your response. Eqlipse1122 (talk) 20:52, 24 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Eqlipse1122, sorry you didn't get a response to this. If you want to get your reviewer's attention, you have to go to their Talk page, or ping them. See Template:Ping. If you're using Discussion Tools (the interface that opens when you hit a "reply" button), you can type @ and then their name, like I did here. We don't get notifications when you reply directly to our AfC reviews. -- asilvering (talk) 00:30, 3 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from Draft:Elio Quiroga to another page. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. For example: Content in this edit is translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk pages of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, please add attribution retrospectively for that also, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. asilvering (talk) 00:30, 3 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
